Enjoyed our stay at qbic The staff all young and eager to make us happy I requested something to hang clothes and it was delivered to my room very quickly We didn't use the quilt as it was too hot and were given an extra sheet. Unfortunately our shower was cool on one morning amd the staff were very sorry about that.

I have stayed here three times and love the quirkiness. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I just love all the fun features in the rooms and the so comfy beds. As a lone female I find walking back and to in the evening a bit scarey in this location but not enough to stop me coming again when I am next in London.

We loved our stay in the Qbic! It felt like lots of thought had been given to the little details that can make staying in a hotel a really lovely experience, and that they'd dropped the things that can make a hotel cost more but don't actually make it nicer. The room was really lovely, very clean, and had lovely features - the designer lamp and dressing table/wardrobe, the decoration in the bathroom, the waterfall shower, the postcards of the local area, the bedside table with plug socket for handy phone charging, a REALLY AMAZING bed, the espresso coffee machine (that made great coffee) on each floor rather than cheap coffee and kettle per room, and more. It felt like it had been thought through really well. We loved all the colour too - so different to other hotels I've stayed in. The downstairs area was great too - really relaxed, and lovely things there too - lovely art and design features all over the place, a great collection of magazines and books on the tables, great kitchen and nice big tables to eat on. Also, all of this just off Brick lane. The only one thing I would say is there's no door on the bathroom which caught me by surprise, but it was only minor. Thanks Qbic, we had a lovely time and will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location just next to Aldgate East tube and easy to walk to Tower of London etc. room very modern and very spacious. Bed is king by standard and was ridiculously comfortable. Wifi was free and we left our luggage after checking out for free, and actually saw it being locked to a chain.

Would also recommend a cocktail bar about 5 mins away called Apple and Pear, awesome cocktails and happy hour 5-7 I think.

This hotel was fairly basic - I'd say it's equivalent to a Travel Lodge but more trendy. We stayed in February this year after booking with Secret Escapes. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was a large flatscreen TV at the end of the bed which, for us, was too close to watch in comfort. We could have done with more hanging space around the room/bathroom. There were a couple of hangers on the wall, where we hung our coats but not enough hanging space to put our towels on to dry after having a shower. The corridors felt dark and dingy with the colours of paint/carpet being very dark. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room and the machine on our floor didn't work, so we went downstairs for drinks. The hotel lounge area was pleasant, with newspapers provided for guests to read. We didn't purchase breakfast so can't comment on that. The hotel location was good for Brick Lane and the tube. Would stay again if we could get the hotel on an offer, but not sure we would pay full price.

Spent 3 nights here and loved it. The room was very clean and comfortable. The no window thing was a bit off putting to start with but I soon got used to it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You get a cube bed with everything you need at hand. Nice pod like bathroom with a very roomy shower. Breakfast was a very good and there are coffee machines on every floor rather than tea and coffee making facilities in your room. The hotel had a really nice, laid back vibe and individualistic styling-lamps covered in wool, bowler hat lights and cow crates.

Stayed at the Qbic for just one night whilst attending a conference nearby. I was greeted by very friendly staff, had a room on the fourth floor which was great.

All I wanted was a comfortable room for a reasonable price which is what I got with the addition of a quirky design, great bed, TV, shower and fast free wi-fi.

Free tea and coffee, no need to queue to check out as just handed the key back.

Would have marked it as 5* if it had been in a slightly better location.

Hope for more of these to pop up around London.
