I really enjoyed the Ghostsign tour round Stoke Newington. Sam's (the tour guide) enthusiasm for the subject really comes through. He is also really knowledgeable about the area and you will also learn a lot about the local history and the background of the signs themselves. A very enjoyable afternoon!

I went on the walk Sam arranged especially for the Hackney Society, and it was a wonderful experience, finding out about the history of both the ghost signs I had already noticed on my travels plus some I had never noticed, een though I have lived in the are for nearly 40 years.

Booked the Ghost signs tour to do with my parents as we always try to find different things to do in London when they come up. The tour was brilliant, I can't believe it's all around where we live. I've seen a few bits but it's great to find out all about it. Good balance of information without being overloaded and good circuit of the area. It was surprisingly nice being in a small group too. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone interested in doing something a little bit different or just intrigued by what it is. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
