“They serve Tea too! Plus other goodies!”

I love this little understated hideaway around the corner from Selfridges on Wigmore Street. It's quite tiny so don't all rush at once to visit, but do try and sample their hospitality if you're passing by.

I'm a green tea fiend so I am delighted that they serve a fantastic refreshing sencha alongside their speciality coffees. What's even better they serve the loose leaf tea in gorgeous Stump tea pots, placed on a wooden tray with a salt timer to ensure you get the optimum brew.

I stopped by recently to revive after an early start working in the West End and sampled the yummy bircher muesli with a pot of green tea. The bircher is excellent, forget the sloppy stuff you normally eat in other coffee shops, this is the real deal without the yogurt overkill.

“Fantastic coffee shop”
Reviewed 26 July 2014 via mobile

The quality of coffee is fantastic. A little more expensive per cup than other coffee franchises around London, but if you love your coffee, well worth it. Staff are lovely and very welcoming.

“Great coffee, though pricey.”
Reviewed 28 June 2014

I got switched on to this place after buying a bag of their Cult of Done coffee from Milk in Balham. Whilst the coffee here is good, I found the use of it at Milk to be a richer cup of coffee - I'm sure Workshop will insist they're 'doing it right' but I tend to prefer a stronger cup - and at 3 quid for a flat white I'm going to get critical!

The staff are really friendly, and they have expert knowledge about their products and deliver apparatus - Aeropress prepared coffee, whilst not for me, seems an interesting concept in coffee drinking and not one I'd considered.

The food here is very good and the whole thing is a class act - just hoping 3quid for a flat white doesn't set a precedent!

“First Rate”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

As a 'coffee nerd' I was keen to visit destination cafes in Central London, and slightly skeptical of a cafe that got good reviews for both food and coffee. Workshop truly does an excellent job on both. On food, they raised the a humble Huevos Rancheros to haute cuisine. On coffee, their Cortado was first rate. In a head-to-head of their espresso blend with a number of SFO roasters, Workshop manages to find that sweet spot between light and complex. Workshop's well worth a visit.

“The coffee tastes for more”
Reviewed 28 May 2014 via mobile

Wonderful place to sit and drink your coffee. Some nice choices and excellent flavors! You can also have a quick bite but I did not tried that. The guy that helped picking my coffee seemed to know what he was talking about! The only minor point to this place: no bathrooms and this while it is after all a coffee place...
