Fairly short breakfast menu, but the full English was well presented and good value compared to the overpriced hotel breakfast in the area.

During a shopping trip to London we were looking for a place to eat and spotted Angus Steakhouse just off Oxford Street. There was a pasta place and pub in the same side street but regrettably we decided to go to the steakhouse. It was busy but as we entered a table had just become free and so we sat down straight away. 15 minutes later and I had to ask for a menu. There were 5 or 6 waiters/ waitresses buzzing about but it was like we were invisible.

Our order was taken fairly quickly although they did not seem to approve of my mum wanting a starter as her main course. We were told that there was a problem with one of the fryers so there may be a bit of a delay. A bit?! That was an understatement! We waited patiently as the tables around us were served. People came and went and we still waited. What I couldn't understand was that the food being delivered to tables around us was the same as what we had ordered so the 'fryer issue' was nonsense. After waiting over an hour I complained to a waiter who just said the food would be out soon. It was only when I said that if it didn't arrive in the next two minutes we would be leaving did the food finally arrive.

It was ok. But not grossly overpriced and not worth the wait.

My advice? AVOID AVOID AVOID!
