Owner description: We are sorry to advise that Thames Water has exercised its statutory rights and given notice to acquire our launch pad at Vauxhall. This means, regretfully, London Duck Tours’ current business of carrying fare paying passengers on the River Thames must cease from 09.00 on Monday 18th September 2017 to make way for the construction of the Thames Tideway Tunnel. Managing Director of London Duck Tours, John Bigos said, “The 18th September will be a very sad day for the company, which was going from strength to strength, but it was vital not to delay construction of this much needed infrastructure project.” We will update you on events in January 2018.

went on the duck tour a few days ago and couldn't have enjoyed it more.... its an odd feeling when it first goes into the water. The sights from the water are second to none.
the guide was knowledgeable and funny in good measures.

We knew the water bit was out of action (which is amazing and I hope gets up and running again, is amazing, did it a few years ago) but our guide Michael was fantastic and more than made up for it all. You need to speak English to get all the jokes but if you do you're in for a treat. Good, clean, daft fun :)

My Partner and I took her Grandson on the Duck Tour last Saturday on a day out to London. He absolutely loved it, the guide was brilliant, it was very interesting for children and adults. Although it couldn't go on the Thames we had a voucher to go on a river cruise which was fine. Everything was well managed and can happily recommend this to any visitor.

We walked fast more than 30 mins to reach the tour time at one o'clock. Once we reached there they told us that there is no Duck Tour (Cruise) but new package to take the Duck Bus for the sightseeing in land and then another real boat for the cruise with higer prices than the usual Duck tour.
Few days after we knew that the bus of the Duck Tour has been blazed on September 2013 and all the 30 passengers have jumped in the Thames River. They are still not announcing in their website about this accident nor the new tour package!
We choose this tour to have a unique experience rather than than the usual cruise.

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to take this opportunity to clarify a couple of factual inaccuracies contained in this review. Details about the current temporary service are on the website and tickets are cheaper than the usual Classic Sightseeing Tour. We apologise for any inconvenience the temporary service may cause, however we would like to point out you'll have a great time with the 'Landmarks' Tour as well! We are working very hard to return to our regular service as soon as possible and please visit our website for updates.

This is a must for anyone visiting London. Although we didn't get the chance to go in the water due to recent problems it was still brilliant. Our tour guide Michael just made the tour complete. His sense of humour was second to none - thank you.
