A true little gem in the heart of Wapping! Serves a stunning Sunday roast and great specials for lunch during the week.

We stopped at the Ramsgate for lunch after seeing the Tower of London and on the way to friends in nearby Narrow Street. We had a typical fish n chips lunch and it was delicious. There is a nice atmosphere. Prices were good, service was excellent and the place was fairly full of people

Just had 4 days in London. Stopped just outside wapping and fortunately found the rams gate . Great food excellent reception from staff and all very pleasant . One little moan a group of locals with children took up a large number of tables with their "baggage " pushchairs etc and then stood in the limited space by the bar but that's their manners not the pubs. Great space out the back looking over the river . Will definitely return.

On a pub crawl of wapping we stopped here for Lunch. The pub had delicious ales on taps which were well conditioned. The area around the bar was a bit cramped.

We ordered food, I got cottage pie which was distinctly average, my gf had a bacon and Brie sandwich which looked like a gloopy yellow and pink mess on a piece of white bread, and there was no salad to balance out the unhealthy sandwich. There were no light bite options

We went to this pub as a group of 5 adults looking to have a drink only. The bar is very nice, well decorated with a lovely little terrace overlooking the Thames. The real problem was the awful reception we received from the mature land lady/bar person. She was rude to 2 members of our group on 2 separate occasions. Much better reception received at the Capain Kidd down the round or the even better reception at the Turner's Old Star.
