“Glorious”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 July 2014

Glorious - that seems a perfect British word to describe this place. The grounds are impeccable. It is the Meca of Tennis.

I use to think why do those idiots pay 20 pounds and wait in line before day break just to sit on Henman Hill just to watch a tennis match on a big screen tv. Now I know. I cannot explain it but it is worth the experience.

BTW, the food was some of the best we had in all of London.

Only disappointment is we only went 2 days, should have gone more days.

“Andy Murray's Day”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 July 2014

A day at Wimbledon for the championships is memorable. Professionalism of the highest degree made the experience truly unforgettable. Pressure on toilets was at time a problem, but the organisation of courts in play, signage, helpful staff, excellent and varied catering, and the opportunity to meet by chance celebrities just walking around as ordinary people made this day almost perfect
Not cheap but a real bargain because of the experience, and all the better for watching Andy Murray win!!!!

“Easy Wimbledon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014

Just returned from a day at The Championships at Wimbledon. Great experience, so easy to travel from central London on the Underground (green line) to Southfields. My husband was amazed that, by going an hour or two later, there was no queue and we were able to purchase tickets for 17 British pounds each. We watched three different matches, got a soft drink, hit the Shops, and enjoyed a beautiful, sunny day at one of the world's premier sporting events. Go, Tornado Black!

“Wonderful Wimbledon!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 June 2014

We had a fantastic day, joined the queue at 11am - which I was convinced was too late to get in, but we got in by 12pm!! The queue is really well organised, we walked from Southfields tube station as it's only 5 mins away, so closer than Wimbledon station. You get a ticket which gives you a number in the queue, so you can leave get food, grab a coffee, go to the loo then find your place again. There's also a lovely atmosphere of everyone excited to watch the tennis. My brother managed to get a ticket for centre court from some very lovely people who were leaving early, so he got to watch Venus Williams play Kvitova and the 3rd round Murray match v. Bautista Agut. Great atmosphere on the hill and a wonderful day. If you love tennis and can, do go, it's such fun!
