I've been to championships 30+ times, however given tour tickets as retirement present. Great surprise as we were taken to all areas not normally see, Interview rooms, TV studios, players and competitor areas. Great value, and totally different that during the championship. Knowledgable guide and majority in 20+ party from overseas. Great value at £25 for 3 hours tour, including museum.

This is the traditional battle ground of the best tennis players in the world. Unfortunately we couldn’t stay for the Wimbledon Tennis Championship which is in the last week of June.

Somehow I think of British Summer and Wimbledon as all rolled in together , the place has such a great history and even if you are not a great tennis fan its a wonderful venue in which to see some of the greatest players in the world compete.

Caught the train to Southfields and level walk to Wimbledon, if you get off at Wimbledon station it is a walk uphill. Great tour, great time to go even though there was some renovation of the buildings in preparation for 2019. Dream come true.
