Good food - hearty, healthy and satisfying. It's not posh but this is what I call "real" food and it hits the spot. It looks like they get a lot of regulars who basically use it as they're canteen.. I don't blame them, I'd do the same if I worked nearby!

You could easily walk past this place, with its unassuming front and lack of bling. But you would be missing big time! Don't let the simple decor fool you - the food is home cooked and hearty and portions very generous. Breakfast is superb with bread to die for. And I'm not even gonna start on the chocolate cake - that alone is worth stopping for.
But be sure to make your way there on time - I don't think I've ever seen it empty!

My local cafe for a quick wholesome bite to eat. Great value with most main meals under £10, and a great atmosphere with an Irish feel to it. Highly recommend. You can also buy fresh wheaten bread to take home with you. Breakfasts are amazing.
