Food is always lovely, and the choice is good. Sandwiches, baguettes as well as omelettes and even Christmas Dinner at that time of year! Good when it's snowing (hilly for sledging) and lovely for families and dog walkers in the area (dogs not allowed in the cafe fenced off seating area).

Very good English breakfast ordered at counter served at table with drinks (£13.00) at a reasonable cost. Great views over extensive parkland and woods.

It really is an ideal spot for a break after walking in the woods or just meeting up with friends for a cuppa and a chat. There is free parking behind the cafe area accessed from Shooters Hill and toilets adjacent to the cafe buildings. The inside of the cafe is bright, airy and welcoming, there is inside seating and a lot of bench type seating outside. The outside area is fenced off (presumably to separate the dog walkers?) I have only ever had snacks and drinks here but they also do breakfasts and lunches which look fine. The opening hours are 8am to 5pm. Overall very good.

Great place to stop if on a walk/ramble but also just to go to to eat. Not only is the food and service. In addition the views from the cafe are magnificent. They took my breath away the first time I went there and several more visits also.

This is a lovely woods with a cafe that has tremendous views but £12 for two drinks and 2 biscuits is overpriced! I realise that the profits are seasonal but don’t money grab from locals and tourists. I think a lot of locals use this cafe and I don’t know how they manage to afford the prices! We visited on the August bank holiday weekend - I wouldn’t say it was busy - I wonder why? It’s a shame as this offers lovely views and pleasant service. I remember this cafe from over 50years ago and it was a quaint little place. The current owners have updated the dishes they offer but seem to have updated their prices a little too much. It is pleasant to eat there but I think a review of pricing may be a good idea.
