“One Word Disgusting.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 March 2012

Myself and 3 of my friends headed to london for 2 nights we had booked this hotel 2 weeks before. We were all really excited photos of the hotel looked good and the location looked lovely . We arrived here at around 1pm to our shock went in to check in and there was a man sitting in the reception drinking a can of guiness (we were disgusted) we went on to fully check in and he told us that there was a mistake with our booking and they had to move us the next day to their sister hotel, to be honest we wernt quite happy about that but we agreed on it on top of all that the man was very sleezy and not at all professional. Because we had already paid for the hotel we checked in anyway, got our keys and we went to our room, the room was up the top story, we are all fairly small girls and could barely fit up the stairtcase it was that small. when we got to the room we were just horrified it was horrible. Our bed sheets were dirty the room smell was just disgusting, our ensuite was a joke you could barely stand inside the door and close the door after you.. there was no sucure lock on the door. Over all the room was horrible and not what we had seen in pictures. We are all 21 and we did not feel safe in this accommadation at all. We got our bags and got out of there as quick as we could. we were lucky enough to find a lovely hotel and a reliable hotel just one street up 'Days Inn' non expensive and to be honest it was a 'hotel' unlike Tony's. i would highly recommend people not to go to this hotel it is horrible and in my opinion not a safe.

beds and dirty room, bathroom very small, wc on the inside ! not close the door so small ! cover beds very dirty, dirty carpet, dirty sheets, no key to lock the door, one day they forgot to close my room ! with my luggage (I'm French). One day not hot water in the morning and nobody to get informations ! A horrible breakfast ! disgusting products...I didn't have confidence, I was afraid I blocked my door ! Tiny television and failed ! work in the next room, the smell of paint and a lot of noises ! what deception ! it's a shame you had to pay before taking the room !

Well... the room was very small although they were saying that it's much bigger. There is not such a thing as 24-Hour Front Desk, instead for hours it was just a chair in front of the door. The WiFi it's not working with the password provided.
There was no Iron, no hairdryer, no radio and no LCD/ Plasma/ Flat-screen TV (it was just a small and insignifiant old TV). No alarm clock as well.
Not that I was needed all those, but they were saying that they have this facilities, and they DON'T.

Good things: it's in a quiet neighborhood and inside it's clean.

To call this a two star hotel it's a little bit too much, but you can call it a very good HOSTEL.

Room Tip: no tips unfortunately

If you are looking for a place to lay your head while doing a whirlwind tour of London with three kids and not much money, this is the place for you! We just wanted a roof over our heads, and a bed to sleep in, and thats what we got. The decor was not a factor for us, we got the family room which had its own adequate ensuite, with plenty of hot water. The beds were comfy and clean, and the TV worked. Breakfast was prompt, and had handy snack packs and juice boxes which we took with us on our sightseeing. The concierge Martin was fantastic. If you are looking for a laundrymat, there is one on just down the road, opens from 8 to 8. Lots of restaurants, the Hop on Hop off bus is literally just on the corner, the train station is 2 minutes from the front door, the cabs cost @ 12-15 pounds to get around to Oxford St, Notting Hill, Harrods, Kings Cross. The Tube was terrifying for this country Australian, but soon got used to it, unfortunately half the time it was closed!

Arrived here drained, but was happy with the friendliness of the staff and the cosiness of the hotel. Rooms: clean and comfortable, Location: outstanding. Perfect hotel for my short trip in London.

In October 2011 we went with two adult and two kids to London. Great location, close to Paddington, quiet at night. Rooms not that big, but sufficient. Breakfast included and brought to the rooms at 8:00. Not a ***** hotel, but given the price, it is good. Would go there again.
Only pity, was that we had a room at the 4th floor and there is no elevator, only a very tight stair.
