We picked this hotel as it was located between central London and Wembley Stadium and turned out to be an excellent choice. Finchley Road tube station is only a couple of minutes walk down the road and has you in central London in 10-15 mins. Wembley Stadium is one stop away on the Metropolitan line (or 6 stops on the Jubilee line) and takes about 10 minutes.

We stayed in a family room on the 4th floor, room was modern and clean and although not the biggest was ample for our needs. We had a double bed and double sofa bed for the kids. Our daughter and her friend had a twin room next door, both rooms overlooked the front of the hotel and neither had a problem with noise. Tea and coffee in rooms, hairdryer in bathroom, great breakfast and plenty of choice in a modern setting. Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely seating area at rear of hotel which is a sun trap in the afternoon, mainly used by smokers but there for anyone to use.

Plenty of shops around, O2 Centre across the road with restaurants, cinema and Sainsburys.
Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Excellent hotel for London. It is a little way out of central London but is only 3 minute walk to Finchley Rd tube station. Easy 15 minute tube to central London. Located close to the high street shops including supermrkets and a cinema. Hotel is modern and clean, excellent spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Staff were excellent. Good breakfast. Close to RAF museum in Hendon, well worth a visit. Fast free Wifi, worked well in the room too. Will definitely stay here on our next visit to London.

Room Tip: We requested a room at the back of the building as the hotel is on a main road. The hotel has double glazed windows so road noise is probably not an issue.

I stayed here with my mum for 2 nights at the start of July. My mum has been to this hotel several times and thoroughly recommended it so thought I would give it a try. So glad we chose to stay here rather than a more expensive place in central London!

The location is great, situated on a busy road with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel is situated a few minutes walk along the road from Finchely Park underground station (this is in fact nearer than Swiss cottage so make sure you get off at the correct one!) You can get either the Jubilee line or metropolitan line into central London, so the location is great for travelling around London.

The rooms were clean and cosy, amenities provided and staff very polite and helpful. At Holiday Inn Express you also get a free buffet breakfast included in the price- it is lovely and you can eat as much as you like which sets you up well for a day of exploring!

I have stayed here multiple times since opening. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The hotel is always busy with a range of people from all over the world, families, business people, visitors to the Royal Free. The common areas are immaculate, and the staff are professionally presented. Right across from the O2 centre, on the jubilee line--easy to get to Central London. The road itself is a bit grungy, being a main arterial, but the surroinding area (Belsize Park, Hampstead, West Hampstead) is gorgeous. Good local restaurants are nearby. Great value for the location

The breakfast was amazing and the rooms were clean and nice. There are no closets though. The rooms are big and the service was outstanding. There is a bus and tube station right near the hotel. The hotel is in a great area and has very close access to picadilly circus. On my tour the guide to me that there is a 1,800 pound suite but it does not come with breakfast. It is an extra 67 pounds for breakfast. Everyone who stays here. YOU HAVE BREAKFAST!
