“Amazing atmosphere, friendly staff and the BEST SHISHA!!”
Reviewed 21 May 2014

After going to Sukarah lounge for a birthday party i was instantly hooked. The combination of friendly and welcoming staff, cosy seating areas outside, amazing food and by far the best Shisha in London makes it all the more fun to regularly spend my evenings there with my friends and family.
Amazing value for money, i highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice evening out with friends over some food and shisha.

Thanks Sukarah!!

“Once you get passed the uninviting entrance this place is a gem”
Reviewed 26 April 2014

Previously this place was a Lebanese cafe and I came here for coffee and lunch for some years. It was cheap and excellent Today was the first time I have been back since the place was re-opened. Unfortunately the outside is really un-welcoming and the place looks closed even when open. You have to pass through a dull sheesha lounge under a dark canopy to gain entranace to the simply furnished cafe and even at 1pm today the place was deserted and I had to ask if they were open.

The cafe was manned by a very friendly Syrian man who said that the full menu was only served later in the day and breakfast food was served at this time. He recommended the Manakeesh which is like a small / medium sized pizza. My wife and I shared a meat one and cheese one with a pot of freshly made unsweetened Turkish coffee. The Manakeesh were superb. They were freshly cooked in the pizza oven and were light and generously covered in cheese and spiced meat. The coffee was strong and lightly spiced and a pot produced 6 generous espressos. AS was wanted a little more food we also had a couple of smaller cheese and turkey pastrami pizzas.

This place is basic but clean with decent toilet facilities. Service is personal and friendly. The bill for all the food came to £5.25 and £3 for the pot of coffee. Best time to come probably Friday or Saturday night when it gets busy. If you visit here see if the Lebanese supermarket next door is open.
