We thought this 2 bdrm. apartment at 10 Curzon Street was in a great location but the rooms were tiny and with two teenage children sharing a room with twin beds it got a bit claustrophobic, also our bed was uncomfortable and the pillows weren't very plump, I had a restless sleep most nights.
The kitchen was also small but very clean and well equipped with good quality appliances.
There is also a washing machine which was a pleasant surprise as the laundry service is expensive, we managed to wash all our clothes and we dried them overnight in the living room.
The living room is cosy and pleasant and we spent most of our time together as a family here.
The heating was playing up during our stay, we complained about this several times but it got fixed one day and then went off on the other, and it went like that for the rest of our stay. Also the key card didn't work on several occasions, we were in a panic one night when the key wouldn't work and the office was closed, make sure you know their emergency number if you ever stay here. The internet is free but stopped working over Christmas which was so annoying as we wanted to contact our relatives and friends in Australia.
Apart from the above mentioned set backs we thought it was relatively comfortable and clean, it fitted into our budget and the position is really the best thing about it, there is a Tesco store (where you can buy alcohol cheaper than the liquor store) right across the road and also the Shepherd's Market where there is a variety of places to have a meal, the best breakfast is at The Old Express. Piccadilly Road is minutes away on foot where there is a Marks & Spencer food store with great ready to go meals, and Green Park tube station is also nearby.
