I don't know which was better the food or the service! The menu choices were described with knowledge and an obvious passion for food by the waiter - how about "Pig on Toast" anybody?. The food is varied and there was a mussel soup, pig on toast, a pea risotto, beef, cod and a wonderful black pudding wrapped in pancetta with a spicy couscous. It started with excellent warm bread and homemade butter with sea salt. A very knowledgeable wine waiter prided himself in the quality of the house wines (a very acceptable Chardonnay from Chile was one). Altogether is was very nice indeed and I will certainly return.
