Wonderful staff and great room, quiet location but still within easy reach of the sights.
Nice and spacious rooms and a really comfy bed. Just what you need after a day sightseeing.
Very friendly staff.
Great location to get to the River, Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Very central also tube station less than 5 minutes away.
Bar and restaurant on site also extra bonus.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 10.Very spacious the only down side was that was very limited daylight, no view fr...

Don't be put off by the location in the City if you want to go shopping in the west end. The tube station (Monument) is only 3 mins walk away and a 10min ride to Oxford Street. Great Hotel, polite staff who go the extra mile, Breakfast very good. Nice clean room with flat screen TV (multi channels)

We stayed on 29 December for one night, a family of 2 adults & 2 children. Check in was excellent and very slick, staff were polite and always smiling and could not do enough for you. The room was large and very clean, we were on the 7th floor. Jesus was always there to help, on reception, at dinner & breakfast. There was a delay with our table for dinner, so Jesus arranged for us to have a complimentary platter which was delicious. With problems in the kitchen, there was also a delay with our food, but Jesus kept us informed and worked so hard to please everyone. It seemed he was there day & night. It was a lovely hotel, one we would visit again thanks to Jesus. An excellent employee, all hotels should have one!

Room Tip: Higher floor, better view.

This is in such a good, quiet location just around the corner from Monument underground station. The staff are lovely, really friendly, very helpful and extremely professional. They were all great but I do have to single out Jesus who was charming, concerned, honest, professional, efficient and great fun. Whitbread you have a star with this employee! The breakfast was the best we have had in any Premier Inn and I have to commend the staff for working so incredibly hard to keep the buffet topped up with hot, fresh food - and doing it with smiles on their faces despite some pretty horrid guests! The rooms were excellent, clean, and the bed really comfortable. The housekeeping staff were lovely. Really enjoyed stopping here and will be stopping here again. There are some minor building glitches with this new hotel and the restaurant/buffet layout could do with some revision but I am sure this will happen in time as the staff get used to the new surroundings. I would like to see a guest safe put in each room, and Whitbread - review your Internet access charges. It should be free!

Room Tip: This is in the City and so the rooms are overlooked by other buildings.

stayed here 27 December, prior to theatre trip.
Location is fine near to London bridge! southbank! Southwark etc.
Breakfast was a shambolic mess. Tables not cleared, guests queuing for tables waiting far too long for classes, plates etc. Nobody seemed bothered.

Stayed here for a weekend break immediately before Christmas - there were 4 adults and 2 children in our group. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and cheerful (and on the first night the staff were from a different hotel covering for the regular staff's Christmas night out). They couldn't do enough to help at reception and in the restaurant.

The rooms were comfortable, quiet, clean and the 3 beds in our room made up when we arrived (which is more than is often said with Travelodge when you arrive with kids). The food was excellent and good value at £22.95 for the meal deal which included a 3 course evening meal with a drink and breakfast, and the kids eat breakfast for free.

The location was ideal for the Tower of London and with easy reach of tube stations. The only downside was it was difficult to locate by car to unload and the nearest car park is a 5-10 minute walk away opposite the Tower.

Would recommend and would definitely return.
