“Family break”
Reviewed 22 April 2014

Great hotel. Central location. Good for transport and walking distance to city sights. Young staff, but really keen and helpful.
Coped with being busy over Easter although the kitchen struggled to keep up with demand at the breakfast buffet

We booked to stay for one night with our two young sons as a short Easter trip to London for the Tower and the Viking exhibition at the British Museum.

Check-in was very straightforward with the automated machines and staff on hand to assist if need be. The family room was very clean and well presented with plenty of space for all four of us. The beds were lovely and comfortable and we all slept fantastically!

We ate in the restaurant and cannot speak highly enough of the service given by Erasmus the waiter who went out of his way to make sure all was well and even took the effort to know our sons' names and remembered them next morning (as they hadn't stayed in a hotel before this was a nice touch). The food and drink was all good, tasty and quickly served.

As part of my job I travel around the UK a lot and stay in Premier Inns often. This was easily the best and the only criticism that might arise would be if you are travelling by car as parking is limited (we were lucky to park outside).

Tip: visit the ruined St Dunstan's church behind the hotel which is now a lovely restful garden.

We took a snap decision and decided to stay in London for the night with the kids. We have absolutely no regrets choosing this hotel.

With a tube station right on our door step, all the main places of interest were a few minutes away.

Check-in was fast and efficient, staff were great. We were in our room within a few minutes of walking in the door. The room was reasonably spacious (enough for a family of 4 anyway). Nice and clean. And a great shower.

Breakfast was a bit manic, so I would suggest getting there earlier rather than later...

Would I recommend this hotel - Yes!

Easy to find, 3 mins from Monument Station, 5 mins to Tower of London. Staff could not have been more efficient or more cheerful and helpful. Made us feel truly like Guests more than just customers. Room was spotlessly clean and comfortable.
Food was also excellent-make sure you go for the breakfast you will not need to buy lunch!!!!

Just returned from an overnight stay at this hotel - the hotel is still relatively new but I cannot praise it highly enough - spotless clean , lovely room, lovely breakfast (despite the buffet area being quite small ) staff were brilliant , all polite and helpful especially 'Julian ' who helped us with the new check in procedures - he was the friendliest man ever - we will definitely use this hotel next time we visit London.

Fairly brief stay for my family and a very pleasant one. Particularly marked by the excellent service provide by members of staff. Very helpful without being too intrusive and very friendly without being too obsequious. Particulalry impressed by Hector in the restaurant who was very friendly towards my young children and remembered us at breakfast time too
