What a great Premier Inn in London, such friendly staff, very helpful in everything, and the place was immaculate from top to bottom, well done reception team and housekeeping team. We had 4 rooms as there were 8 of us, and we all had the same high standard of room even though we were spread out around the hotel on 2nd 4th and 7th floors. It has a lovely bar/ restaurant downstairs, also very clean with friendly staff. It is modern and well kept, small but very practical .Amazingly it was also very quiet, as it is tucked into a side street. It is close to London bridge and the tube stations are close by also. There is NO CAR PARK, so you will either need to come in by train or coach as we did, or leave your car in outer London near a tube station and travel in. We loved this place and will stay again.

Room Tip: Any room is a good room.

As a family of 2 adults and 2 children this was our first stay at a Premier Inn - what a pleasant experience it was. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the most helpful staff who could not do enough for you. The beds were the comfiest we have ever had in a hotel and the sound proofing ensured the hotel was quiet and a good nights sleep was had by all. The breakfast was great with a good variety of food. The one and only thing to bear in mind is that with four of us in one room it was a bit on the cosy side and there is not much storage space however these are very minor points and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: ICheck to see if they have any larger family rooms if you are a party of 4.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to share your fantastic comments on Trip Advisor. We are really pleased that your stay was a pleasant one. Many guests are pleasantly surprised to find that although we are in the very heart of the City of London and the financial centre, that our rooms and location here are quiet and peaceful.

It’s also fantastic to hear that our team looked after you and ensured your stay was a good one.

We hope to se you back in London for another stay soon.

Kind regards,

Mark

Stayed here with some friends on a city break - 5 nights, 2 families, 8 people - including 4 teenage kids. I have to say the premier inn brand lived up to all of its brand image at this location. Everything was superb - location, cleanliness, comfy beds and fantastically helpful friendly staff.

Price was good - although the nightly rate ranged from £99 - £169, which if the premier inn could introduce a stay " 4 get 5th free" deal or loyality programme would have made it even better. Hint hint.

We had two family rooms, each consisting a double, a single and a trundle bed with legs. (Full size single bed that is stored under the double bed). The beds are made daily, along with a room tidy and towel change ( if you want) My 15 year old daughter got the trundle bed and said it was super comfy. Room wasn't overly large, but plenty big enough given we were out most of the time. Only down side was it had no in-room safe for my security conscious husband and for four people limited storage, but for a short stay didn't bother us too much.

I had pre- paid for breakfast - which for around £8-£9 was excellent value. Especially as kids ate free. It consisted of a small Buffett area serving cereals, yogurts and fruits, with full English selection of bacon, sausage, eggs (fried and scrambled) beans mushrooms, hash browns and tomatoes. All served with coffee or tea. Oh yeah and a basket of bread and crumpets - which could be self toasted, plus croissants and muffins. It's was delicious and set us up each morning for a big day of site seeing.

There is a small bar area too, which made for a nice night cap before bed each evening.

The location was great. Close to many sites, but is a nice quiet location. Minutes walk to tower of lomdon, Thames and tube stations. Monument was closest, which with an all day travel card offered great value to hop around London. The number 15 bus stops nearby and took us to Trafagular square, from which it was a nice walk down the mall to see the palace and the changing of the guard. Tower hill area offered some really nice restaurant options. We came back to base on 2 of our 4 nights and ate out. Zizzies and BBQ spot. Won't say too much here as I've reviewed them separately. There were lots of other choices too.

All in all - this is perfect spot for family sight seeing. Well done premier inn: excellent in every way, especially your staff. They were fantastic especially the reception and restaurant staff. They couldn't have been more helpful.

My kids never believe people read my reviews, so if you found this helpful, please help me prove them wrong by stopping to give me a helpful vote.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights over the bank holiday weekend and from the minute we arrived the staff made us feel very welcome. The hotel was very busy due to the bank holiday and half term. Breakfast time was especially busy but we only waited 5 mins max to be seated thanks to the wonderful staff who didn't stop smiling and did their best to accommodate everyone as soon as they could! The hotel is ideal for families, i.e with children. However if you wish to use an external pub or bar over the weekend you will have to travel south of the river as pubs in the area are only open Monday to Friday. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit London and is a great place to start your visit if you choose to use the tube. Respect to Erasmus and Chy!

This hotel has recently changed its name to London Bank (Tower) Hotel.
Very nicely located if you want to visit the Shard also Borough Market, both a few minutes walk over London Bridge. Lovely clean hotel nicely designed rooms, free WIFI for 30 minutes nice TV, excellent comfy bed. Did not have breakfast as it is expensive but there are plenty of alternative cheaper options, ate at Pret a Manger just over the bridge but there are plenty of alternatives in Borough Market.
Look out for special deals good location near Monument underground station. Will be staying again.

Everything Fantastic apart from service in restaurant. Booked a table for 8.30pm for myself,Wife and 6 Year Old Boy, and ordered the £22.99 deal,2 course, and childs 3 course.
22.00Hrs arrived, some 1Hr 30 mins later ,our starters arrived, minus the most important person, my boy, who by 2100hr, would be normally fast asleep.
22.15pm,15 mins after we have got ours, his pizza bread arrives, and my boy is falling asleep, and starving.
I wasn't amused, and cancelled all remaining food, as by this time, I wasn't interested in ours, and my boy wanted his bed. I complained that this was far from satisfactory, and I genuinely felt sorry for the staff, as it seemed that they was a lack of numbers on duty.
The guy at reception when told of our sarga, immediately refunded my bill, including the nights stay.
I heard lots of people complaining of the waiting times that evening.
Not once did anybody every visit the table, when clearly empty glasses needing refilling. After reading previous reviewing on here, I wondered if I had came to the right hotel.
The following evening, I vowed not to give it ago again, but because of the weather conditions outside, decided to give it another go.
It was a lot better, but still I waited over 30 Mins after ordering drinks twice, before anybody came with them.
Apart from that, the place is great, with loverly welcoming staff, clean rooms, and a great location.
Loved my 2 night stay there, but surely questions need to be asked about service levels in the restaurant.
Im not a person who complains, but had very little option.
