“Fantastic breakfast. .. and lunch!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 June 2014 via mobile

We liked it so much, we went back for lunch! Coffee and pastries for breakfast were delicious. We had a flatbread snack for lunch which me and the kids destroyed in seconds! All baked onsite, lovely people, just around the corner from Kings Cross station.

“Best croissant in London”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 May 2014

Great buttery croissant served by real Frenchmen exclaiming 'oh, la, la' and waving their hands authentically - who could ask for more! The coffee is also really good.

This is a bakery, and not a restaurant or cafe (it doesn't pretend otherwise) so I think it is unfair to comment about its size. However their are a couple of bar stools where you cans it watching over the baking area. I hope this place succeeds and grows as it is a ncie contrast to Pret/Costa/Paul etc.

The pricing is very, very fair.

“Good food, Small Restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 April 2014

The food was delicious. However, the space to order and the location of the menu was a little small and made me feel a bit claustrophobic. BUT you can take away--so if you're in a hurry, this is a good choice!

“Lovely baking, lovely experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 February 2014

I have stopped there for coffee and breakfast several times. Sipping the lovely coffee on a little stool next to the baking area, I have watched one or more people baking, just 2 feet away behind a little glass screen. I'm generally nosy and ask what the they are up. Usually this concludes with a very interesting description and a little taste of whatever they are baking. Ive now seen the biggest ever slab of French butter i can possibly imagine, which probably explains why what they bake tastes so lovely. It seems from overhearing other customers they will also bake things for you to order. This is a charming, friendly and wonderful business and they deserve all the success they get.
