I went to 100 Club for the first time and didn't know what to expect, but it is definitely a serious music venue with an interesting past.

I saw Jon Gomm and really enjoyed the music and atmosphere. 100 Club obviously attracts people who are serious about music as the doors opened at 7.30 and it was already full when we got there at 7.45!

The only downside is the cheap plastic chairs they had (which I guess they wouldn't use on a club night!). My chair was broken and so I either had to slouch back very far, or lean forward, which isn't great for three hours. It is a minor complaint and didn't impair the experience at all.

I will definitely go back to 100 club to discover other hidden gems!

Thank Luke E

This is an amazing club in a basement on Oxford Street. It's incredibly atmospheric and you'll see some great live bands here. They play a great mix, blues, rock, ska and Northern soul ( not all in one night!) you can usually just pay at the door unless it's one of the bigger bands. It's recently had the air conditioning and toilets refurbished and you'll find people of all ages tapping their feet, having a boogie or just sitting with friends. The only thing that let's it down is the bar. Staff are friendly but choice is very limited and rarely have any ale on tap.

We went to see Steve Forbert at the 100 club and it's almost like he's in your living room
A good show but a boring public although I quite like the club.
Small but adequate for concerts.
