Stumbled in this pub by mistake looking for shelter from the rain. It is now one of my favourite pubs in the area. meet up with a mate that i hadn't seen in a while for a chat and a pint. we were looking for somewhere to go when it started pouring with rain and found shelter in the water rats. It has lots of good drinks, we decided for the classic pint of Guiness. one pint after the other the service was always quick and friendly and the waitress always spoke to us with a big smile on her face and was very helpful. We the decided to eat a burger and some fish and chips. Food was great and once again the service was fast and excellent.
Once we were ready to leave i asked the waitress where i could buy the collection guiness glass she had served our pints in. she smiled and said wait a minute came out with 2 new collection guiness glassesfor us to take home. will go back there for sure and have already advised my mates to try it out. next time i will go to hear some live music.

My partner and I were staying next door at the Tune Hotel and called into Water Rats for breakfast. On getting there we ordered a Full English breakfast each. The service was quick and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and included toast. When it came to pay, we were surprised that the tea was included in the price of the breakfast which was good value anyway! Would definitely return if I was in the area!

One of the best small music venues you can find in London. A nice pub with great atmosphere and a back room with an amazing and loud sound system. Either young unsigned bands and very good established indie acts play here almost every day .

great venue for smaller bands i have seen many bands here over the years the bar at the front is also very good and normally a good place for a quick cheep drink that you would be paying double the price for and most other pubs around it really nice atmosphere and nice building

We visited this pub only for breakfast. We were staying at the hotel next door, tried the breakfast at the Water Rats, and had full english there each morning for the rest of our stay.
Really good full english breakfast, and nice staff.
Sorry we cannot review the actual bar and the pub in the evenings, but the breakfast was so good we must recommend it.

Thank sebofo
