“Great gluten free dinner!”
Reviewed 4 June 2014 via mobile

Fantastic duck main as well as delicious starters (I tried the bruschetta, chicken strips, and the Brie). Looking forward to dining there again with some of my GF friends!

“Food and passion”
Reviewed 3 June 2014

An amazing gluten free restaurant in the heart of Brixton Village. Been there with friends couple of times already and the food together with place was better and better every time. It was obvious that the chef altogether with the stuff is very passionate about making us happy and satisfied. Will go back for sure! All I can say is Mmmmm! with a huge smile on my face.

“Imaginative, tasty food in the heart of Brixton Village”
Reviewed 1 June 2014

Vozar's chefs turn out an impressive selection of slickly-presented contemporary dishes. No mean feat from their small, but comfortable restaurant in bustling Brixton Village. Both the lunch and dinner menus are packed with good-value, colourful options that make imaginative use of locally-sourced ingredients.

The dinner menu starts with a choice of sharing plates. We went for breaded chicken strips with guacamole and chilli mayo. For mains, I had a seared tuna steak with wild rice, salad and salsa verde. My partner chose a duck confit with mango chutney, pickled beetroot and Vozar's chunky chips. Washed down with a glass of a well-chosen Spanish Monastrell from the Alicante region. Delicious! The service was swift with a pleasant and friendly informality.

All food presented by the restaurant is gluten-free, though you wouldn't know it; it will be equally appreciated by non-celiacs

“One of the best eating experiences I've ever had.”
Reviewed 28 May 2014 via mobile

This place is in the bustling Brixton Market, and sitting either inside or out you get the charm of the place. Barely a hole in the wall, don't let that fool you in to thinking this isn't gourmet. The food is a cross-culture infusion between the two chefs and it comes off great. Show me another place you can have duck confit for 10£ in London!? So yes, best value for dollar I've found in the city. And it's all celiac friendly, totally gluten free! Great experience, definitely recommend!!
