This hotel was chosen because it had a room at less than £100 including breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room, friendly staff and excellent buffet breakfast. As the double beds are rather small, single occupancy will be very comfortable.

Room Tip: They are about to open a new section with "deluxe" rooms which should have larger beds.

We chose this hotel based on price/location. At £109 p/night we got a spacious modern and clean room in a quiet street a very short walk from Euston station. I asked for a quiet room and was given room 314 at the end of the halls - which are somewhat rabbit-warren like, but not really a problem. There are tea and coffee making facilities, free bottled water, and the breakfast was excellent including eggs cooked to order and about 12 kinds of cereal to choose from. On the negative side, the tv screen was tiny, the shower a little small, and the double bed was two single beds joined together. Overall we would stay here again at this price.

There is a very popular pub nearby, about 7 indian restaurants one street over, other food/restaurant options at the train station, and an excellent italian place called pasta plus on the other side of Euston station. It is about 15-20 mins walk to oxford street shopping, but there are two underground stations to choose from nearby.

Room Tip: Room 314 was quiet and larger than some.

I have stayed at the MIC several times and it is very pleasant, and very well located. I like it a lot. But I won't stay there again. I booked up in early February 2012 to stay in early April, and they confirmed the booking by email. But two weeks before the visit, with the rest of our trip arranged, the MIC emailed me again and wanted to put up the rate by some £50 per room per night because 'the rooms I had booked were being refurbished.' While this may well be lawful, my opinion is that it is sharp practice, poor service and a shabby way to treat customers. Perhaps the ownership or management has changed recently?

The hotel is about 4 minutes walk from Euston station, so it's very central hotel and very convenient for train travelers.
The staff at the reception is very polite and helpful, at our arrival we had a room on 2nd floor but because of a very annoying noise ( probably of road works - not sure ) we asked for another room, the lady from the reception saw us 2 other rooms, finally we choose the one with no noise at all and this was on 3rd floor and it was a triple room ,when i asked her if i have to pay more money she answered no!
the room was spacious , clean and the bathroom was very good and modern.
The breakfast was one of the best i have ever tasted in a hotel with organic products!
Because of i didn't have my lap top with me i asked from the receptionist if i was able to check in my flight , he said immediately yes and gave me a place at the reception to do it. i was also helped by a jentleman who probably was in charge for printing the docu, ents as i didn't knew how to use their printer.
We had an excellent stay and will be back!

Hotel is in a good location, within a short walk from Euston or Kings Cross/St Pancras. It's off the main streets, but is unfortunately very close by a popular pub. Our room was on the 3rd floor, but on the same side of the building as the pub and so we were kept up until the wee hours. The room was small, but this is to be expected in central London. It was still comfortable enough to move around in. The bathroom is modern, clean and had a good shower.

The room was too warm when we first arrived so we had to open the window, which let all the noise pollution in. The room air con was set to 21 degrees which is hotter than either of us like and so the combination of noise/heat led to a poor sleep. Luckily we just stayed the one night.

The room stated it came with bathrobes, we requested these when booking, we further asked again upon not seeing them in the room once we'd arrived. The guy on reception seemed confused and said he'd look into it and get back to us - we didn't hear from him again, so poor service there.

I think for the price it isn't worth it, and you could get much better value for money elsewhere.

Room Tip: Ask for one on the other side of the hotel from the street - away from the pub!

I recently stayed at the MIC hotel whilst in London on a weekend course. As I was coming in to Euston late I really wanted somewhere close by - MIC hotel and conference center is about a two minute walk from the station and easy to find.

The room was small but clean, modern and comfortable. There is a broad selection for breakfast and the staff were all very friendly and helpful at all times. I would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through on business.
