My wife and I stayed for one night due to its proximity to Euston station. First impression of the reception and corridor areas is that the hotel is a bit utilitarian but in actual fact the rooms are very well equipped, very comfortable, and clean. The staff were universally delightful and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and the food of excellent quality - having a chef within the dining room to freshly cook egg dishes and pancakes to order was an added bonus.

This is the second time I have stayed here. The rooms are modern and nicely furnished with a good size bathroom. They have all the little extras which make a short or long stay more enjoyable, including internet in the room, complimentary toiletries, bottles of water, hair-dryer by a mirror, laptop sized safe and an ironing board! The staff are very polite and helpful to meet any requests you have. For breakfast there is a wide choice - and the staff are very happy to help with eggs cooked to order from the hot buffet. Excellent location for access to Euston Station. Also, short walk to St Pancras Station for Eurostar trains. Rooms small but adequate (not micro, as in some London hotels), with elegant, modern decor. Best breakfast buffet we have ever had in an English hotel (including smoked salmon, for example), plus made-to-order dishes by an extremely accommodating chef. Adjacent street is a major London location for moderately priced Indian restaurants, so lots of dinner choices (if you like Indian food).

I only selected this hotel as my conference was taking place here; it was listed as 4 Star so thought, can't go wrong. Booked a Superior Double room; website shows a lovely room and quotes "a generous amount of space"; reality is room is pretty standard, nothing exceptional about it, and generous amount of space? Good job I had no dead cats to swing around!

It was a functional room; a long wooded shelf to be used as a desk; tea and coffee making facilities were ok, TV was a bit small though - a larger TV (maybe a 32") would be better for when watching in bed. At least the WiFi was complimentary which makes a nice change.

Bathroom was small (in keeping with the room) but there was a number of complimentary toiletries. Shower was very nice though.

Bed was a double, just! If you split it in half, it wouldn't make two single beds so larger people beware - might have to do lots of cuddling :)

Room service menu was useless - it doesn't start until 10pm and the only runs to midnight. If you want food, you need to go down to the bar, look at the a la carte menu and order from that. When the food was delivered to the room, the waitress forgot to bring condiments and also did not have a pen for me to sign the bill!

The only saving grace for this hotel was the chap frying the eggs at breakfast - very helpful, happy and courteous, which is more than can be said for the rest of the staff encountered. Yes, they were all courteous, but the "customer service" element seems to be missing. Breakfast was your usual buffet style cooked English but the whole set up of the restaurant was reminiscent of my old school days:- collect a tray, add a plate, fill the place, sit at an empty table and eat. Tea, coffee, fruit juice, cereals etc was all serve yourself.

I suppose it's not too bad; its basic and functional and if that's what you want, it ticks the boxes but when you have experienced other 4 and 5 star hotels, come here (which is supposed to be 4 star) and get this, you will be dissapointed - I know I am.

I paid £185 for this room and breakfast - wish I had have stayed at the Cavendish; will not stay at this hotel again.

Did I mention they were digging up the street outside the front of the hotel?

March 5th/6th 2014.

Room Tip: If you are going to stay here, just choose the cheapest room so you are not too disappointed.

We stayed at the Wesley for two nights. The hotel is very conveniently situated for anyone travelling to London through Euston and we were generally impressed by the facilities. The room was fairly comfortable, well supplied with fair trade biscuits, tea, coffee and water (all of which were replenished daily), and there is free wi-fi. There was an excellent choice of hot and cold food at breakfast (including porridge), with a friendly chef in attendance, happy to cook eggs and pancakes to order.

Given this, it was surprising to find the sort of toiletries you might expect to see in a budget hotel – a wall-mounted shower gel dispenser from which it was very difficult to extract any gel, for example. The heating only came on when the room key was inserted into a slot in the wall and the room looked out onto an untidy yard and was overlooked by adjacent offices. There was a slightly unfinished feel to some of the corridors and communal areas – closer to a student hall of residence than a four star hotel.

The check-out time (10.30) is early and it was disappointing to discover that the hotel management is completely inflexible about this. If you wish to arrange a late check-out, they charge £10 an hour. If you plan to go straight to the station from the hotel, you would do well to book an early train.

Booked for a weekend break in London. Excellent location, very short walk from Euston Mainline station, and close to Euston Square and Warren Street underground stations which enabled us to travel easily around the places we wished to visit.
The staff were excellent, very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The Jubilee Suite was comfortable and had everything that we needed. The only complaint was that the luxurious bed took up such a large amount of space so that one person had no bedside table. however, the bed was wonderful, firm and comfortable. We have already booked our next break at The Wesley.

Room Tip: Some rooms are small, the Suites give an excellent option

Booked a week in the hotel considering the location which is perfect. Bang opposite euston station. We booked the standard twin sharing bedroom which possibly has the smallest bathrooms in the world. I could challenge peter dinkalage ( game of thrones fame) to fit into their bathrooms, they were gracious enough to upgrade us but again very sly and curt when it comes to demanding and behaving as if they were doing us a favor. The upgraded room was far better but not worth 120 quid almost the price of a room at holiday inn.. id suggest it for a short stay and location.
