If you like having mices on your room and being treated disrespectful for complaining about it, this is the perfect hotel!
Everything was dirty, small and the breakfast was bad as well. The stuff was unpleasent and rude. The only good thing was the location!

The hotel is located nearby the tube station Padington. The area is full of bars, restaurants, shops. Oxford Street, Hyde Park just few minutes from the hotel. The hotel itself is cosy, the rooms are a little bit too small but you will find everything what you need. The big disadvantage is so called breakfast room. It is very small, breakfast is served between 7:00 and 9:00. We could not eat anything during our stay as the room was always full of people and there was not enough place to sit and have breakfast. Free WI-FI, the receptionist Mr Sancho very halpful, another one very impolite. Generally the hotel itsef is ok for people who want to explore the city.

Went it london for 2 midweek days in January and just wanted a cheap hotel to basically just sleep in. We arrived the hotel about 12 and the room wasn't ready but we were told we could leave our bags in the breakfast room which was downstairs. It wasn't a secure room but quite a few other people had left their bags there. When we checked in a realised I had only booked the room for 1 person. Oops! Mistake on my part. Should be been £34 for the single and the man on reception said it's normally £25 extra for a double but he would only charge £10 as there was only a twin room left. It was fine for us as we weren't in the hotel we just wanted a clean bed to come back to at night and then leave in them morning. The room however was in the attack up ALOT of stairs. We're a young fit couple in our twenties and struggled with the stairs with luggage so I feel for people less able or older people to climb them all with luggage. Room was clean, tea and coffe facilities, secure, but was VERY warm. We realised the window was open but it needed to be. When we slept that night we realised it was warm but it was also very Noisy on the busy main road down below. We tried to close the window but it didn't actually close properly. It was actually an old broke single paned glass window. Anyway, we slept the night, wasn't up in time for breakfast served 6-9am but we weren't bothered. We woke up and left about 10am and checked out, leaving our bags again and collecting them later when we were getting our coach home. Definitely a no frills hotel. But it was a clean bed and bathroom for the night. It did the job, we paid £44 for a central london hotel. It's actually just down 1 straight street from paddington station so very good location and safe area. Not a romantic hotel or anything
Like that but it did the the job. We slept and left. I would recommend for a night out in London but maybe world spend abitt more money if it's a hotel you want to spend time in.

Stayed there for two nights in the beginning of December. The staff was very polite and kind to us, and the location of the hotel was perfect. Oxford St. was just a little stroll down the road. Our room however was very small, but we both got big beds(too hard/firm and kind of clumpy though...) AND our room smelled like a farm when you walked in !! Also there was a constant cold breeze from the window next to my bed even though I closed it. Freezing at night when there was no duvets, only thin blankets.
The breakfast was OK, but we were a little late the first morning(closing at 9 AM).

All in all it was OK for our short shopping trip where we spend all our time at Oxford street, museums and other tourist attractions. I would not recommend this hotel other than a weekend stay.

There's nothing pretentious about this hotel. It's basic, it's cheap and if you want somewhere to crash out after a night in town, it's fine. If you are on a tight budget you might want to stay for a couple of nights, but please don't think of it as a romantic possibility. Ever.
I have read reviews that the bed linen was dirty. Mine was clean and starched, which was all I required to sleep off the booze and get a shower the next morning. I didn't attempt breakfast, but went to the local Pret a Manger for some porridge.
In its favour is that it is in a safe location and being honest, what the hell do you expect for fifty quid in London? This hotel delivers to expectations.

We just stayed here and our room was not pictured on the website, unsurprisingly because it was disgusting. The wallpaper was peeling off and there were no duvets just horrible thin blankets. And, WE FOUND FLEAS IN THE BEDDING!!!! Our room was not ready when we arrived, it was a noisy hotel, the dining room was not big enough for everyone and definitely not as pictured on the website and the breakfast was very basic. The only positive I can say about this hotel is that it was in a good location. Otherwise, I would not recommend it. OMG WE HAD FLEAS IN OUR ROOM!!!
