A few years since I stayed here, and I have recommended it to others. Lovely spot. Beautifull flowers outside the entrance. We went up the steep stairs to our room, and my aunt was given a nice room on the first floor. Breakfast and service good. Clean and cosy. Near Hyde Park, a couple of good pubs and Oxford Street, and bus tours. Would definetly come back for another visit.

The pros: Very handy location to Oxford Street/Baker Street areas. Big, quiet room at the back of the hotel on the second floor- (Room 30).
Friendly, helpful staff. We had a continental breakfast included in the price but as we were early for breakfast the kitchen staff kindly made us an omelette to order. Good coffee.

The cons: It cost us £163 for a double room with breakfast which is pricey for a three star hotel.
Basic and old-fashioned fixtures and fittings. Plastic flowers in the breakfast room. The curtain had been pulled too hard in our room and was hanging down. This hotel could do with some decent secondary double glazing to keep the heat out. Our room was very hot and although there was a portable air-conditioner in the room the hose had somehow come detached at the back so that the hot air from the machine was blowing back into the room. We had the window open all night and it didn't seem to do much to cool the room down.

Room Tip: Back of the hotel away from the main street

Room and service exceeded my expectations. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room very clean and bed very comfortable. The only drawback is there is no lift so the stairs will get you fit. Staff carried my suitcase up so no inconvenience. Great location. I would stay again.

Attended a book festival and found this little gem just a 7 minute walk away from High St. Marylebone. Friendly service and clean and comfortable accommodation. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay here again.

Warm and friendly welcome from start to finish. Staff went out of their way to provide a breakfast on the morning of departure as we were late down, although the full English wasn't available the choice of breakfast was more than adequate! Only gave room a 3 out of five purely because it was on top floor, and without any lifts it's a bit of a haul with luggage! The room itself was perfectly clean spacious and well equipped! This hotel has been added to returns list!!

At 55 GBP a night for a twin bedded room (one double and a single) the GPH offered great value for money. The room was large, tastefully furnished and the bathroom ample, clean and very usable. Useful refrigerator to keep food and drinks cold. Although busy road was just outside, no traffic noise disturbed sleep. Breakfast was a little on the lukewarm side but offered cheeses, cold meats, eggs, cereals, juices and coffee/tea. Staff were polite and friendly. A little gem in the heart of one of the best districts of London!
