We really liked the place in the city center close to the tube, the Tower and Tower bridge. Hotel itself is modern, renovated and clean. We had the top floor room with a magnificent view over the roofs to the Tower bridge which was really magnificent. A place to choose and come back.

Room Tip: A view from the top floor room is really great.

We stayed at the Apex City of London for New Year 2012, the staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. The room was very confortable and clean. The Hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the tube station, which is very handy. We would definately stay at the Apex City of London again.

We stayed here for two nights over new year, and stayed in a deluxe room. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and the room was a great size with a huge bed and TV and DVD player. The bathroom was clean and modern. The hotel is in a great location a few minutes away from the Tower of London with lots of pubs and restaurants nearby. The hotel included lots of little touches that made it a great place to stay, complimentary jelly beans in the room and a free £10 voucher for the bar/restaurant. We had drinks in the bar, and the cocktails were fab but didn't eat in the restaurant so I can't comment on that.

Just checked in at the hotel, we were greeted by the nice lady Maria, she was so friendly and helpful. our room was upgraded into the deluxe. There was also a box of chocolate and greeting card to congratulate us on our honeymoon. The room interior is modern minimalist, the bed looks comfy as well as the couch. Well, overall me and my parter are loving this hotel, since the first time we checked in. Couldn't be any happier. Best hotel throughout our honeymoon trip in europe.

My husband and I stayed at the Apex City of London Hotel in December 2012 and had an enjoyable stay. The pros include very friendly and helpful staff, proximity to two tube stations as well as to the Tower of London and St. Paul's Cathedral, and clean rooms. The cons: some of the small things in our room were in disrepair (i.e., the dead bolt on the door was broken), the rates charged were high relative to other, nicer places we've stayed in London, and the mattress needed replcing (springs sticking out made for a couple unpleasant mornings!). Overall, I'd recommend this to someone specifically looking to stay in this part of London, but for someone interested in more value for the money and closer to the city center, I might suggest looking elsewhere.

Had a one night stay at this hotel after Christmas with my girlfriend.
We were up graded to a deluxe room on a Secret Escapes booking.
Very happy with 3rd floor room. Stylish bathroom, decent toiletries.
Mini bar with complimentary soft drinks and snacks. There was also an
outside terrace, but we couldn't use this due to the rubbish weather.
The breakfast was good and the staff were all very pleasant.
The location ia.s great, very close to Tower hill tube and within walking distance
of Spitafields area We would recommend this hotel and we are coming back in a
couple of weeks.

We stayed on NYE paid £200 not bad for a hotel in London. Close to Tower Hill tube found it a little difficult to find though. Very modern & stylish. Large Deluxe room huge TV, everything you need in the room hairdryer, kettle etc. Nice large bath, room for two! Had cocktails in the bar, used £10 voucher which we received because we booked direct with the hotel. Very close to Tower Bridge & touristy attractions.
