As usual Apex was a first class hotel for our group of travelers. We opted to take the 3 day extension and stay in London for three days extra while visiting England. Having stayed in the Apex Hotel in Edinbourgh Scotland in 2010 I was hoping that this hotel would be of equal enjoyment, and it was!! First class all the way. The hotel staff was the very best and the most helpful. I highly recommend any Apex hotel in the system but this one was one of the absolute best!

We recently stayed at this hotel for seven nights while on a vacation in London. In short, we couldn't have been more pleased with the facility. Our room was comfortable, quiet, well appointed and spotlessly clean. During the three times we ate at the hotel restaurant (two dinners and one breakfast) we found the food to be very good and service efficient. Every staff member who we encountered was very welcoming and friendly. Upon our arrival, we were upgraded to a third floor room with a huge bathroom. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing to be aware of if you have never been here before is that it is in the heart of London's financial district. Consequently, it is somewhat distant from many of London's major tourist attractions. And, during the weekend, the area is very quiet with few pubs or restaurants open. However, offsetting these considerations is that the hotel is a relatively short 10-15 minute walk from a tube stop (approximately 3-4 long blocks) from which you can easily get anywhere in London in a short period of time. Would we stay here again? Absolutely! Would we recommend it to our family and friends! Definitely!

We stayed here for two nights over the weekend. The hotel is much cheaper on the weekends since it is in the business district. Many of the restaurants/stores in the area are not open on the weekends so be aware. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the Tower Hill tube station and a 10 minute walk to the Bank station.

The room was spacious and clean. The service at the hotel was friendly. The room was very quiet and we had a great night sleep. Free water bottles are provided in the room.

Stayed for four nights. We found the location to be excellent as it is just a short walk to the Tower Hill Station. There were numerous restaurants in the area, however many close early as this hotel is located in a financial area. That being said, it was quiet at night and not too crowded with tourists during the day. It was a quick walk to Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.

The room was clean, modern and updated. Not a huge room, but it was comfortable. The continental breakfast was included in our stay and it was just fine. The service at breakfast was excellent. I would absolutely stay there again.

Stayed for a long weekend for my wife's birthday the staff were very helpful and friendly, they even put a birthday cake in our room on the day of her birthday. The hotel is near (couple of mins walk) a Wetherspoons pub, the Liberty Bounds, which made for a good starting/end point every day. Also only a couple of mins walk to Tower Hill tube so easy to get around

The staff were all so friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the housekeeping. Asked on checking in if we could have a quiet room and this was no problem at all. The room itself was very comfortable and clean and the shower and bath were lovely.. Nice touches of free bottled water and biscuits for your tea.

The hotel itself is located right around the corner from the Tower of London and Tower Hill Tube stop. This was perfect for travelling on the Tube so no issues with getting around.

Would definitely stay here again and recommend it!

Room Tip: Rooms on the 6th floor are quieter
