We are leaving tomorrow morning after a 5 nights stay at this hotel. I have travelled around the world and I have to say that this is one of the best hotel I have had the pleasure to stay at. The service at the front desk, including the concierge, is very friendly and efficient. Our room (405) is very roomy, modern and the bathroom has a large two persons shower. And the bed is very very comfortable: we slept well. As an added bonus, the hotel is within a few minutes walk from the subway (Tower Hill station), the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. For the service, the quality of the rooms and the location, this hotel deserves five star.

Faultless hotel - the service is fantastic and the staff are friendly & happy - and there is plenty of them so they have time to talk & to give good service. Its still a family run company and it shows in a very positive way. The standard room is not as big as the equivalent in Edinburgh but for the middle of London it is very good - and we liked having a separate spacious shower. There was also a bath. All the little extras were there: bottled water, generous sizes of Elemis products, proper sized bath sheets, fresh milk delivered to the room. They pay attention to detail. The food & drink are excellent and very good value. 2 for 1 cocktails especially good! The location of this particular Apex hotel is brilliant - almost next door to the Tower of London. If you've never been to London before this is a very good hotel to start out from and come home to at teatime. There is a tube station very nearby and - even better the pier is just over the road so you can use the river taxis to get about. [These give you fab views of loads of iconic London landmarks.] And if you ask the hotel staff to get you a taxi they get you a taxi - not a mini-cab. We will be returning.

Beautiful quiet rooms. Excellent service. Location is the best bit, so close to Tower Bridge and The Tower of London. Very near underground station and several very good restaurants in the area. Would stay again.

After a great experience at the Apex Temple Court in December, we didn't hesitate in coming here for a 60th birthday celebration.

The hotel & its staff treated us so well that there are literally no complaints whatsoever. Rooms beautiful, clean with all the extras that make a stay more special.

The birthday girl was spoilt too - but that will remain a secret between us and the hotel. Needless to say, she was overwhelmed by their gestures.

We will be booking with this chain again whenever we are in London. EXTRMELY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We stayed here for our 10 year wedding anniversary, which we mentioned when checking in to ask for a quiet room. Delighted to be upgraded free to a superior room on the fifth floor and a couple of complementary drinks to celebrate - they didn't have to do this and it was really appreciated and got our weekend off to a lovely start.

The room was lovely, with comfortable large bed, tv and lounge area. Bathroom immaculately clean with decent power shower, bath and complementary smellies. There is construction work going on nearby, but it didn't start too early and there aren't many places in London that don't these days.

The staff (reception and bar) were cheerful, polite and helpful throughout and were the highlight of the stay. We didn't eat there as it looked a bit pricey and there are decent places to eat within a few minutes walk, but did enjoy a couple of reasonably-priced beers in the pleasant lounge.

Really can't recommend the place enough - it is a bit corporate/identikit in design as all these places are, but the outstanding staff made it a much more personal experience than we were expecting. If anyone from their corporate office reads these forums then you should be very proud of the staff at this hotel and the sterling work they do for your brand!

Modern comfortable hotel in an excellent location for sightseeing. Room cosy clean and welcoming cannot find fault at all . My only complaint but only a small one, costly to stay there with no breakfast included, apart from that royals recommend .

Great accommodation very handy to the Tower of London and only a short walk from the Tower Hill Tube. The room was well appointed, bed very comfortable, nice toiletries provided. Not much of a view out the window and the food pricey and not the best in the restaurant but other than that couldn't fault it. There are plenty of other eating places and bars nearby so don't be put off by this. Staff on the desk friendly and helpful.
