My Wife and i recently celebrated our 26th Wedding Anniversary by staying at the Cafe Royal in London and we were completely blown away by the standard of the revamped accommodation and particularly the genuine warmth of the staff with a particular mention for Christian Krajewski who could not have been more helpful in making our stay one to remember this guy went the extra mile. We will definitely recommend the Cafe Royal to all our friends who want to celebrate any occasion in style as this place oozes it.

Once again Many Many Thanks Christian

The Cafe Royal's history is woven into the fabric and people of London it was so exciting and completly refreshing to see the newly refurbished Hotel. Its a triumph - Like London itself it has reinvented its self - preserving the best bits and then re-inventing luxury with a completly modern twist. Bravo - all headed up my a pleasent young International team.

We spent our first night in London at Café Royal on Regent St before moving on to stay with family. The hotel has recently been re-opened and is five stars all the way. Perfectly located in the centre of London's premier shopping district. Our room (Junior Suite) was exquisitely presented and had every possible modern convenience with all of the special touches required for such a stand out property. As with all great hotels the difference though comes down to the staff and the team at Café Royal were brilliant. Thanks to every one we came into contact with they we are all so warm and welcoming. Special mention to Karim (Concierge) he did a wonderful job of assisting us with all of our tour and site seeing requirements. He is a true exponent of what it means to wear the Golden Keys.

Room Tip: The Junior Suite is excellent

I had the pleasure of staying here with my husband and our 2 children last weekend and quite possibly was one of the best hotel stays I have had both here and abroad.... The staff, food and general ambience of the hotel were all perfect. Thank you! I can't wait to come back....

Room Tip: Well worth paying extra for a suite and butler service

We spent a day in London celebrating our daughters A level results. It was wet and miserable and we had time to kill before our train. Walking up Regent St I spotted Cafe Royal and thought we would finish the day with cocktails. We received a warm welcome on entry and were shown to the cocktail bar. We had the bar to ourselves and were shown to a nice corner table and our wet coats and umbrellas were taken care of. We ordered cocktails and sat back and admired the room, which was stunning. Before our cocktails arrived we were given a very nice amuse bouche..
Before we knew it time had flown by and we were now rushing for the train.
The whole experience was perfect and topped off a great day.

The hotel just reopened in December 2012 after a years long refurbishing exercise, the result of which is just splendid. We enjoyed a 3 nights stay in a junior suite which was both spacious and cosy, fully equipped and well isolated to keep the street noises of Regent street out. The marble bathroom with bath tub and separate shower was luxurious and marvelous. The architects/decorators have been particularly successful in finding the right balance between keeping the old grandeur of the place and turning it into a top notch modern hotel. Another asset of Cafe Royal Hotel is the friendliness of the staff.
Dinner in the hotel's restaurant however was a very disappointing experience (limited choices, poorly prepared food, loud and irritating music, overly organized (?) staff leading to long waiting times).

Just wanted to say a big thank you to all at this wonderful hotel for making our recent 35th wedding anniversary stay very special , even prior to arriving the attentiveness of the staff was excellent in contacting and discussing our requirements for a memorable weekend . Then when we arrived this attention continued without being fawning . The quality of everything at this hotel is exceptional , rooms , staff ,public areas , the lot . Our only complaint was that our wonderful room was to technical for us as we struggled to work everything , more a case of not overly technical guests than a room fault , which again was swiftly dealt with by the hotel team in advising us . We mainly liaised with Greg who was smashing , but everyone there was great . For a special treat I would recommend this hotel highly . Once again huge thanks to all at Cafe Royal .
PS . Extra thanks for the complimentary treats also .
