Been there for a dinner with my girlfriend a couple of week after the opening. Reservation was easy and our table ready on time.
We didn't order pizzas but fish as a main, and were both very deceived by the quality and quantity of this £14 dish. Was barely a starter size and did not taste much.
Service was definitely not pro, although the waiter tried to be friendly. Plus he'd forgotten to bring an antipasti we ordered after he suggested it, that was finally charged on the final bill.
The only good point was their very nice Tiramisu which balanced a little the overall deception. Does not compare neither compete at all with its competitors along the same street.

It never really matters how good everything else is when the poached chicken with vegetables and pasta in broth turns out to be 2 pieces of flavourless chicken breast floating in a bowl of stock with a few vegetables (obviously frozen, not fresh) and some very uninspiring soup pasta. The other dishes we ordered were fine, but they could really have made the effort to to produce something home made rather than quickly thrown together.
I do like BYO without a corkage charge, though.

very nice waiter but the food came up short.
We ordered 2 starters
- the monkfish with shallot mayo was really excellent
- the brucetta was very average
The pizza was very tasty but the base was soggy and could only be eaten with a knife and fork. It is always disappointing when they don't cut the pizza - just don't get that.
PS when you ask for parmesan for a pizza its not shavings you are looking for - thus could do a lot better

This is a lovely little spot and a great, reasonably priced addition to Bermondsey Street which otherwise can be a bit pricey. The service is warm and friendly and there's a certain 'no frills' feel about the place. The bottle of Riesling priced at £19 was delicious and the pizza was mouth-wateringly good. The cheesecake was somewhat unusual!

I discovered last weekend that they have started doing 'bring your own bottle' with no corkage so I now imagine they will be fully booked every night. Great idea!

Visited Ticino for an early Sunday dinner with my wife & daughter and enjoyed delicious antipasti of olives and charcuterie. To follow I had a wonderfully seasoned Napoli pizza which was the best pizza I have had for many years.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and overall the dinner exceeded expectations.
Currently doesn't have an alcohol licence but, we were informed when we booked and brought our own drinks with us.
