Since the hotel is new, and we booked far in advance (it had only 2 reviews on Trip Advisor at the time), we got a very low price. Since everything is new and up-to-date, the rooms are comfortable, though a bit small (probably typical for London). The breakfast was fantastic, and the lobby has a lot of seating, tvs, and 24 hour bar. The staff was very friendly and helpful. In terms of noise, I would say it's as little as you could expect staying in such a big city. I honestly don't remember any. Any concerns about the nearby Waterloo train station are unfounded. It's 5 minutes walking distance, but certainly not so close you can actually hear anything to do with the train station. I would definitely stay again. I came with my wife and child.

The location of this hotel is great- within walking distance of the London Eye and just down the street from a major train hub. Beds and pillows were super comfy, bathroom clean and roomy, staff friendly. The room itself was a bit on the small side, but it didn't bother us. The breakfast was very welcome as it included many items like beans and hash brown potatoes that were missing from other hotel breakfasts we had across Europe. Breakfast does get very crowded though, we found that going before 8am helped us avoid the rush. The wireless internet was very nice to have and we seemed to get a nice strong signal wherever we tried to use it. Everything you would expect from a Hampton.

Room Tip: London city view rooms might include a nice view of the Eye.

My wife and I recently stayed here while she was attanding the airshow in Farnborough. First of all, let em say that the hotel in very nice and new. Its proximity to the Waterloo Train station is key! If you plan to do any traveling outside of the city, I highly recommend this hotel. Another great advantage is that the hotel offers a FREE breakfast. In an extremely expensive city, a free breakfast (buffet style) is a huge money saver

What didn't we like? The room was very small. To make matters worse, there is absolutely no storage room and we were forced to live out of our suitcases for 5 days. If you are traveling alone or only staying for one night, not having any storage shouldn't be much of an issue. If you plan on sharing the room with someone else or staying for a few days, be prepared to step over your suitcase(s).

We stayed a week. Used the fitness room almost daily, a big breakfast buffet and several people keeping it stocked. Convenient to Waterloo train station and only a short walk (20 minutes), tube or bus ride to the theater district

Room Tip: You can pay extra for a nice view, we didn't look out the window that much but from the top floo...

Great fresh new room design! Very clean and comfortable. Terrific location, great staff, great breakfast. Perfect for a quick stop in London on my way to Oxford for a class at Christchurch college. Easy to find, a quick walk from Waterloo Station.

Stayed at Hampton London Waterloo for 7 nights in July 2014. Front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating although I didn't have any special requests. Timed my arrival for about an hour before official check in time so I could get a room right away, and that worked out fine as it usually does. Good sized room on 7th floor with large bathroom and very comfy bed, flat panel TV and excellent air conditioning during a hot and humid week. Wi-Fi was excellent, previous complaints by other reviewers no longer apply as the problems have been resolved. No drawers for clothing storage, however if you look at the photos you will notice a shelf below the TV where a coffee service is placed - I moved this object onto the desk and used the shelf for storage of trousers, shirts etc. and the two nightstand drawers for more personal items. Electronic safe for valuables in the top door of the nightstand. Towels were a rough as sandpaper, must be the hard water, perhaps the management could consider water softeners or other solution. The included breakfast was excellent and much better than Hamptons in the USA. Same items every day but a large selection so you can vary what you eat. Ice machines on 1st and 4th floor with pint sized paper cups, but I got an ice bucket from the bar and used it all week. The location is excellent right near Waterloo Station and you can also easily walk over a pedestrian bridge to the action on the North Bank and above. Heathrow airport takes about 1 hour by tube with 1 change at Green Park. I booked this hotel 3 months in advance and paid an average 111.00 GBP per night which I felt was fair for what was provided. Prices have gone up quite a bit since then so check out other options for comparison, however London is very expensive so you might end up here anyway. Otherwise this is a good hotel and I would stay there again without hesitation. And check out The Wellington pub up the street, it's a good place for a pint when you exit Waterloo Station after a hot tube ride.....

Room Tip: Although I did not have the "good view" of London Eye etc., I found the south view to be n...

Very good location (15 minutes walk to Big Ben, 2 minutes to Waterloo station), very good service, sufficient room size, very good breakfast. Great street view from room window) If the rate will not increase I would stay in this hotel again.
