I gave it five stars based on it being a good 'Travelodge' rather than an idylic hotel.
I've stayed here a few times and have seen it before and after the refurb. It's all the better for the refurb needless to say.
Its location isn't in the best area it must be said, it's not a holiday destination, more a place kip if in the area and arriving by car.
Car parking is fairly secure and it does have staff present. Parking is additional money but reasonable on the grand scale of things.
The hotel is clean and tidy and exactly what a Travelodge should be. Forget scenic bedroom views, think industrial and you'd be about right.
It's very close to the North Circular but the soundproofing deals with traffic noise quite reasonably. Rooms are typical Travelodge, basic but clean and tidy. The beds are comfortable and I slept well.
The staff are most attentive and efficient. The breakfast area is kept clean and tidy. Breakfast is plentiful and fresh with a suitable selection, nothing overly special but fit for purpose.
Final verdict: If you need bed and breakfast for the night in this approx location, you could do far worse than stay here.

Excellent accommodation - spacious room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, well soundproofed against the North Circular road. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good value for money. Pity about the food.

Horrible car park located next to a busy road on one side and a noisy industrial estate on the other. The computerised keys didn't work and despite ordering twin beds was given a double for me and my adult son. It was changed but hassle.
Reception cafe is like the school canteen,
Shower luke warm
and finally the cleaner drove her car into mine causing damage and travel lodge dont want to know and i have spent hours trying to resolve with the cleaner.
use hotels including travel lodge a fair amount but this was the pits...Try premier inn about 2 miles away near Wembley stadium

We stayed here whilst attending the Play Off Finals. The hotel is ideally situated for the Stadium being only one Tube Stop or a 10 minute walk away.
The rooms are kept clean as is the Reception and Bar/Dining Area. Staff are friendly and helpful. A stay here is excellent value for what you pay.

TOP TIP - For Breakfast visit the Ace Cafe a short walk away towards the Tube Station. This is a Bikers cafe and provides excellent food at reasonable prices and the atmosphere is superb. Do not be put off by the fact the it is a Bikers cafe

We stayed here for one night before attending a Football match at Wembley Stadium, the hotel has recently been refurbished and looks more like a 4 star hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful!

After reading the poor reports about this hotel I was a little worried before we arrived! I chose this hotel as I needed a place to park and didn't want to pay a fortune - but forgot to read the reviews! Parking was a doddle - you just use the pay and display machine. It was £15 for 72 hours which is good value. This place has had one of Travelodge's new refits and is looking good! On arrival we were greeted with a friendly face - check in was quick and easy. The room was large, has two sets of double glazed windows to block out the sound of the north circular, a large shower room and a great, comfortable bed. The TV was tiny though, there isn't a hair drier, there was one tiny pot of shower gel and the drains stink every time you use the water. The shower is just ridiculous - it sounds like there's a little man behind the wall with an old pump who's failing miserably to get water to you - the pressure was laughable! The 'double double' glazing also leads to an airless night.
Don't bother eating here. Not only did I get ripped off by the staff by £5 with a so called 'meal deal' which cost £28 for 2 people (there's a Nandos in the Tesco Extra down the road which is a lot cheaper), the burgers were horrid and clearly microwaved. Breakfast was also a rip off - the hot food was a rubbery and tasteless affair and the continental selection left a lot to be desired. While we were eating, a child at the next table was sick. We all know this is part of life so didn't bother me (and I don't blame her, the food is foul), however, what did bother me was that none of the staff offered to or helped the stressed mother to clean it up. They came along and said that it wasn't their job and just gave her some paper towel and some spray - they didn't even cover the sick up for us onlookers. Brilliant customer service there guys!
We also didn't feel safe in the hotel's location either - the 15 minute walk to the Hanger Lane tube station is down a rough looking industrial road. We felt that unsafe that we got a taxi back to the hotel when we arrived back after midnight one evening. The hotel also has security door men/bouncers in the evening - says it all. Oh and it takes an hour or so to get to central London including the walk to the station and tube connections... bare that in mind if you plan to go!

All in all the room was very comfortable, clean but very basic with smelly drains and an awful shower, the hotel clean and well presented but still has some rough edges, don't eat here you'll get ripped off, staff are unconfident and don't seem well trained, the area isn't nice but parking is cheap!
