“One night stay for Wembley Stadium event”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 June 2014

We stayed here for one night to watch the boxing at Wembley Stadium. The hotel was perfect for what we needed it for. Parking was only £5 for 24hours and the train station was a 10 minute walk away. The rooms were clean and modern and all the staff were friendly. We didn't eat there so can not comment on the food but would recommend the Ace cafe 5 minutes down the road from the hotel. Overall we were pleased with this hotel and the price that we payed!

Room Tip: Choose a room at the back as it is quieter

Stayed here for 2 nights and the highlight was the staff. As I was down for business I had a lot of work to do at night and therefore had to use the printer - on several occasions. This was no bother to the staff, willing to print copy and staple my bits and pieces. Everyone at reception always had a smile on their face - certainly a warming atmosphere!

The room itself was good! I was in a family room and it was huge! And the new beds are definitely better than the old travelodge ones. There were a few marks here and there in the room, extractor fan in shower was loose, and one lift was broken - but for the price I paid I couldn't complain.

We stayed at this Travelodge as we required accommodation with car parking with easy access to the Tube Station. This was in the ideal location. £5 a day for car parking, clean room, comfortable bed, lovely big shower and a 15 minute walk to the nearest tube station at Hangar Lane or Stonebridge. The Travelodge has a bar and cafe area and the staff were lovely. We ordered an Indian Takeaway the first night and this was delivered to our room. We requested a knife and fork to eat this with and were also offered plates. Really lovely staff and very obliging. The only negative side for us was that our room was at the front facing the North Circular Road which has a lot of traffic noise. However, after a trip to Boots the Chemist for some earplugs the problem was sorted!

Room Tip: Choose a room at the back of the hotel away from the busy North Circular Road.

I've been more or less a permanent weekday resident since March and I've seen this place transformed.

The rooms and public areas are all now transformed - the decor is bright, modern and most of all, welcoming.

The staff are absolutely brilliant, really friendly, helpful and nothing is too much of a problem (and this is not because I'm a regular, they are like this with everyone).

There are of course a few niggles, such as a broken lift, which has been that way for at least 5 days.

The food is nothing special, but from a breakfast point of view, there is loads, so can't complain.

Only thing which really lets this place down is its location, on a very busy dual carriageway at the end of an industrial estate, there are stunning views from the 7th floor and one can see all of the high rise London landmarks such as the BT tower, the shard, canary wharf etc. but lower down, you're presented with views of the roofs and back walls of factories and a recycling centre - so far from pretty!

The walk to the station (nearest being Stonebridge park) is quite unnerving at times, as the area is very industrial and run down, perhaps more scary in darkness, the alternative (hanger lane) is slightly further away, but no less intimidating as far as the walk goes.

But other than that, this is a great place to stay

Room Tip: Rooms on the front are quad glazed to cut the road noise, rooms at the back aren't quite as nois...

Stayed here for one night for the Boxing at Wembley Stadium , Pre-paid the Carpark and paid in advance with the Super saver on-line for the room . Room was large and bright very clean . Nice tea and coffee in the room too. Book in advance as far ahead as possible for the best prices Have used all the budget type hotels before and this is one of the best in the London area for price. Will use again .. . P.s Staff were very helpful.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back away from the main road if you are a light sleeper.

Stayed here for one night to see Jack Whitehall at Wembley Arena . Big car park, £5 to park for 24 hours which meant we could venture to Oxford Street via the tube next day. Close to the tube station about 10 minute walk.

Staff very lovely.food and drink was good value. Would stay again!
