“Perfect home in London, quiet and convenient.”

Stella's B & B was a wonderful place to stay while visiting London. It was convenient (short walk to train, bus 1/2 a block away), quiet, clean and comfortable. Stella provided numerous helpful hints about where to eat, etc. The company was pleasant and interesting. We would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to visit London but not wishing to stay in a touristy, crowded area. John & Peggy

I stayed here with others on a course. This B and B was clinical. 1stly there was a book of rules if broken you were read the riot act. A rule was broken which was not our fault. We were threatened to be thrown out of the house at night! It was a complete over reaction. When breakfast was nearly finished the table was cleaned before you got the last bit of toast into your mouth. You couldnt stay in or around the breakfast room being made to hurry out. Also You were asked what you wanted for breakfast with gentle persuasion that you might not want this or that, saying £'s at every corner. There was even a gripe about people paying paypal that 'she' wasnt making as much as she could have with cash. I certainly wont be staying here again..avoid.

We stayed here one night after arriving from the U.S., and before heading north. We were looking for a clean, inexpensive place. This B&B had been described as in the suburbs, so we weren't expecting entertainment, just rest.
Surprise! Stella loaned us a little map of the area, and we found ourselves walking not through a boring suburb, but a bustling little area of small interesting shops. We wandered to a pub where we ate lunch overlooking the Thames. It seemed like a taste of village life. We found energy enough also to make the bus and tub connection into central London that wasn't too hard even for a couple of people without city smarts.
Room clean, price good, proprietor friendly, breakfast excellent, area charming. I recommend.

B and B in Barnes is probably one of the best B & B's in London. The place is always clean and tidy with a very welcoming atmosphere, nice airy rooms, crisp linens and towels.
Stella is a fabulous hostess and is always so very helpful with any guest requests. Every Summer for a two week plus period for five weeks I have stayed at Barnes B & B during a business trip. The breakfasts are great, always cooked to order. The location is superb for those not wishing to stay in central London, a bus service 2 minutes from the front door will take you virtually anywhere. Overall this place is fantastic value for money and a jewel in the crown of London accommodation. Thank you so much as always Stella. GG

This B & B met all our requirements for an overnight stay within traveling distance of Wimbledon. It was comfortable and in a quiet cul-de-sac (with the downside that parking is a bit restricted) There are shops and places to eat and drink within walking distance and the proprietor, Stella Mason, provides ample directions to find them. Our room was very comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. The bathroom is only a few feet away. Breakfast was excellent - well prepared and plenty of it. A credit to the owner.

I am so glad I found this little gem; Stella, you do an amazing job. Location is outside of Central London but is easily accessible via train or bus and good shopping is literally minutes away on the main street. Our room was clean and very comfortable, the bathroom is spacious, and Stella cooks a mean English Breakfast! She couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful and I would definitely stay there again.
