I visiteted this gallery in April 2014 (Pangea Exhibition), and also once in May 2013. Both showed highly interesting and inspiring works. They seem really good at spotting interesting subjects and artists. The architecture of the building is fantastic, and almost becomes part of the art experience.

The gallery is located in a lovely area, close to the faboulous & charming shopping streets around Sloane Square.

Recently visited the Pangea exhibition with my mum and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The space within the gallery is excellent and really brings out the best in the art. Particularly moved by the arrangement of the draped jute sacks wall installation which really evocative. Well worth a visit.
It is also in a great location surrounded by places to eat.

If you enjoy looking at scribbles go to a nursery, instead go to the national portrait gallery.

I have to write a least 100 words, so here is a list of adjectives to describe this place:

Boring, waste of space, scribbles, disgraceful.....

What determines the quality of your visit to the SAATCHI Gallery is what the current exhibition is.
The gallery itself is very conveniently situated off the Kings Road and as well as the attached cafe there are also plenty of local eateries. The shop has some interesting and unique items, particularly useful for those who are hard to buy gifts for!
What is also a big plus is the fact that entrance to the gallery is free of charge.

Just visited the Pangea exhibition. Really thought provoking. Some amazing photography. But best of all this was a huge hit with my sons (16 & 12) - not often something I can say about an art gallery. We all loved the room full of oil.
