“Ugh.”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

Look, I suppose that it's good that contemporary artists of varying levels of ability are given the opportunity to exhibit their work, but I just wish that I wasn't unwittingly subjected to it.

Overwhelmingly amateur hour. Impressive gallery building, with a vast amount of space and seriously underutilised in relation to both quality and quantity of the art (thank goodness, in relation to the last point, I suppose). Worth going to only for the adjoining restaurant and the gallery store.

I agree with others - go to the Tate Modern instead.

“'Abstract America' and 'Pangaea' art entertaining”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

As always this gallery has provocative and entertaining modern art; we spent a wonderful Sunday afternoon here, for free - and there's a cafe next door, and a gallery shop filled with a great selection of art books.
Along with the Tate Modern, the Saatchi gallery provides Londoners with some of the best modern art available. Highly recommended.

“Nice building, pity about the so-called "art"”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

A really nice gallery, well laid-out and free (which is always a bonus). However (at least on the occasion I went there) it was full of rubber-necking tourists and also full of 20th rate pretentious so-called art. Go to the Tate Modern instead to see better quality modern art,

“Great food, great gallery!”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

Had a really unexpected surprise when I discovered the Saatchi Gallery and the adjacent Mess Restaurant. The gallery is light, bright, allows photos and is free! The current exhibition of contemporary art is breathtaking. At the Mess restaurant, Daniel looked after me exceptionally well with attention and good humour. I had the endive salad with blue cheese to start and then the pumpkin tortellini washed down with the excellent house white. A real treat to spoil your inner Sloane Ranger!
