Owner description: Following hot in the footsteps of our original Brooklyn venue, Brooklyn Bowl London will redefine the destination entertainment experience in London. Our original venue is “One of the most incredible places on earth,” according to Rolling Stone, and Brooklyn Bowl London will follow the same winning format; a premier performance venue, food by famous New York restaurant Blue Ribbon, bars which feature local craft brewed beers, and 12 bowling lanes which give guests a unique place to relax, eat, drink and watch great artists playing live on stage.

“Cool bowling - great fun”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

We had a great time here as a party of 2 senior citizens two adults and 2 teenagers. Quite unlike the usual bowling alleys that are so cheap, loud and depressing Brooklyn Bowl is cool! you pay by the amount of time you bowl at £18 per half hour we stayed for an hour which worked out at just £6 per head and gave us one game which was plenty. The atmosphere is more New Orleans than tacky neon and there is an impressive array of quality spirits, beers, milkshakes e.t.c. we had one of each really and all were great - as was the fudge sundae. You have nice bit chesterfields to sit on at your lane and all food and drinks are delivered to your lane. This has cured me phobia of bowling alleys and we'll definitely be back!

“Live band venue”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

Went to see The Fun Lovin' Criminals. The stage and flooring is next to the ten pin bowling. It's a brilliant venue for a live band. Quite intimate which is good for me being very small, I could still see the stage from the back. Loads of comfy seating while you wait, nice toilets and plenty of them and a huge bar and plenty staff to serve you quick

“Exceptional Bowling & Dining Experience – Fun for the whole Family”
Reviewed 18 August 2014

Booked 2 lanes side by side for a group on a Sunday afternoon (6 adults and 6 children) on the Living Social offer, and we were not disappointed.

On arrival it was a little odd to have to walk across “the dance floor”, however we were presented with a server for our duration who was polite and professional and on hand if needed.

The modern US style ambience really sets the scene and despite not being much into bowling myself, managed to enjoy the nearly 3 hours session we were allocated. I missed the old fashioned calling for “strike” and what not, but we added our own sound effects!

Our deal included an entrée and drink each and the menu and food selection for both adults and children was exceptionally good. The burgers were enormous, the macaroni cheese Moorish and the ribs too excellent to miss.

Would definitely look to go back to Brooklyn Bowl for both personal and corporate events, with or without the deal. Not sure what the atmosphere would be like if there was a gig on at the same time, however you could always check beforehand before booking.

“Great food, great service and will defintiely visit again”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

We went on Sat 9th and had a lovely couple of hours bowling and eating.

Food was so yummy, especially the slow cooked ribs. Moss, the Ops Mgr is a credit to the company and escorted my father in personally in a wheelchair which we had pre booked, making the whole experience perfect.

Will definitely visit again, soon.

“2 beers all night and wanted a lot more.”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

Ive eaten in the restaurant part which (reviewed before) was ok, but have waited for some time to visit it as a music venue. On Saturday i went with some friends to see the Fun Lovin Criminals play, who I have to say were excellent (even though a lot of it was pre taped sadly). The venue is really great, big space, good acoustics and plenty of room to watch the band without being barged into, The bowling space to the side was big too. I particuarly liked the big leather sofas for players to relax in. It is great except for one thing, and that is the abilty to actually buy a drink. The bar there is long... and I got a drink there easily when i first arrived, but pretty quickly it filled up and by 9 pm it was 5 deep at least. I dont care what the situation is, I am not waiting 45 minutes for a drink, especially when i pay to get in.
Upon complaining i was directed to go into the restaurant to use the bar there, but with only 1 person serving it soon filled up. He got pretty stressed out too.
The real madness of the situation is that they have another bar over by the bowling lanes. It was unmanned the whole night. Utterly stupid in my opinion.
The other slight niggle was that there was nowhere to leave or put down your (plastic) glasses...A lot just ended up on the floor, which became a sticky mess after a while. i guess if they were only expecting people to buy a couple of drinks, they didnt need to dispose of any rubbish.
All in all.. its a great venue but dont expect to have a drink there. Maybe when they realise that people are getting upset (I wasnt the only one) they will do something about it.
I wish them well.
