I booked this hotel for me and my boyfriend through the last minute website on the top secret hotels deal. It was a lovely surprise for him. It looks as good in real life as it does on the pictures. I asked for a high floor room with views of the St Pauls cathedral and we got exactly that, we was in room 627. They even had a little birthday cake in the room ready for arrival, which was a nice touch. When it came to checking out the next day (11am) we weren't ready to leave so we called down to reception and asked if we could have a late check out (£20 per hour) but they was kind enough to let us stay till 12:30 complimentary :) Great location as well, less then a 5 minute walk to the bus stop which takes you into Piccadilly, get on a number 23. Overall I would defiantly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for higher floors and with views of the cathedral.

Booked this hotel for me and my girlfriend last minute for a one night stay in London. Got a cheap deal on last minute.com. Would highly recommend to anybody looking for a luxury hotel in a top location.

Hotel- hotel was top notch. Superior Room was clean, spacious and bed was massive. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were superb (free for all guests) and had no issues with service or check in. Hotel looks as nice as it does in all the photos on the website.

Location - The Hotel is bang in London's financial district and is right near St Paul's cathedral. We went off to the theatre and west end in the evening which was only a 10 minute tube ride away. Also plenty of bars and cafes near the hotel.

If you get this hotel on the cheap on a last minute deal it is perfect for a luxury break away with the mrs. Great location and really smart stylish hotel. Can't recommend it enough.

Stayed 2 nights in this hotel, gave us adjoining rooms as requested. Quick check in. All the staff very helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable., and very quiet. We loved the pool and spa, great place to relax after a day walking round London. Good breakfast, plenty on offer and lots of staff filling your tea and coffee regularly. Nice bar area for a drink , didn't find it too expensive. St Pauls is a lovely area, can recommend Blackfriers pub, great atmosphere. Cant wait to go again. Close to the tube station too.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view, some are looking onto the big atrium, and although no one can see in there is no daylight in the room.

My brother and I booked a superior room for our parents' wedding anniversary. The website makes the hotel look very much like a 'business hotel' rather than somewhere to stay for a short break; however, the room was great (and a bit bigger than the showroom we'd looked at) and it was very quiet (they were on the ground floor in the older part of the building). They had plenty of choice for breakfast and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Their check-in was fairly quick and the receptionist was efficient and very pleasant. There was a huge queue when they went to check-out but they just waited in the bar area for five or ten minutes and the queue had completely gone - again, very nice receptionist. The hotel itself is in a great location - incredibly close to St. Paul's cathedral and close to the South Bank, London Bridge area and a particularly nice pub. I'll certainly be recommending it to friends and family.

St pauls was just around the corner and the area was very pleasant. The room was a very good size and for the price it was good value.
The spa was fantastic very clean and spacious, it was quiet when we went in so very tranquil.
We stayed in the west wing which I think, was the furthest part from reception. There was definitely a good consistency of quality running through the hotel.
Bathrobes and slippers and a very comfy bed.

The only downside to this hotel I would say would be the staff at reception and concierge. The only word I could use is, cold. Their approach was not particularly welcoming so I was pleased that I didnt have to walk past them every time we went to our room because the west wing had a seperate entrance.

Overall pleasant stay. Would stay and recommend.
