Ideal location within 2 minutes walk of St. Pauls Cathedral. 5 minutes walk from underground. Loads of restaurants just around the corner.

Reception staff are at best, adequate. No information provided at check in and did not ask if we enjoyed our stay at check out.

Couple of chavs in the bar as we left (9am), having a good old swearing match. Obviously got lost on the way to a Travelodge.

Breakfast £31 each. They are having an absolute laugh. £31? Thats scandalous and totally unwarranted for a load of food being kept warm on top of a candle.

Rooms are comfortable and clean.

The overall experience is certainly not 5 star

Having stayed here the end of last year, we decided to come again for 2 nights with 2 children in tow. We were offered free cooked breakfast as we complained last year, rioting Hens, non the less!!! However I wouldn't rate the cooked breakfast and would never pay over £7 for eggs and bacon. On the Saturday there was such a rush at breakfast that there was hardly anything left and a queue formed which was crazy. However, the next day, Monday there was hardly a soul around and a less stressed breakfast was had by all. The hotel is lovely though and the staff very helpful. We had a complimentary fruit bowl but the fruit was hard and we couldn't eat it. Round the corner is Pizza Express and many other eateries if you want to eat out. Having been here twice, I wouldn't come again though, I find it expensive for 4 people but a pleasant stay nonetheless.

I've been staying in this hotel for 2 consecutive years when I'm on a business trip. This is near One New Change mall and tons of restaurants. Well it was perfect and convenient for me as our office is along Cheapside.

The only thing is, if you're interested in sight seeing after office hours, there's not much attraction walkable from the hotel aside from St. Paul Cathedral. Tower bridge is a bit of a walk but doable. But this place is accessible by bus and tube, not that far from Piccadilly Circus.

Service was great and very welcoming even for a guy who wears shirt and jeans instead of coat and tie :)

Room was very clean and very elegant. Tea and cookies were complimentary. Bathroom was beautiful, although the ceiling faucet/shower did not send the water in the correct direction…..
Complimentary pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room were excellent!
Breakfast was simple, but you could upgrade easily to the full English breakfast for additional funds. We did ask for a room with a view of the Cathedral, but the view was far to the left. Room 330 was quiet though. They brought us cupcakes for our Anniversary, very thoughtful!

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the Cathedral and avoid inner rooms that face the restaurant. Make your way to th...

Picked up 1 night on business trip for a very good rate for this location in London via Lastminute.com. The hotel is contemporary in feel and visually very attractive. The bedrooms are spacious and of a good standard - although on closing the blinds to maintain privacy when inwards facing to the atrium it feels a bit dark and closed off. Also I found it difficult to maintain even temperature through the air conditioning system which didn't lead to great sleep :( - final area for them to work on is reception - too few staff at peak check in and out times. However on the plus side it has an excellent bar with good atmosphere and bar options for food and drink - service very good too. The room service food quality was also excellent.

This hotel is a 5 minute stroll from St. Pauls Tube station and right next to the Cathedral. The hotel is very modern with a huge atrium in the middle and each floor has glass walkways to the lifts and a view of the atrium which may be an issue if you have vertigo issues. On arrival we were upgraded and had a room overlooking one of the dining options in the atrium. Our room was very spacious, with a separate seating area, bathrobes, slippers, iron/ironing board and tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was also very spacious and modern with a separate shower cubicle and bath and very good quality toiletries. All staff were very friendly and courteous and the bar atmosphere was very good. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again. The best rate I could find was on the hotels own web site.

First of all this hotel is lush, beatifully layed out and really friendly staff.

I was expecting as it looks like (And is) quite a posh classy hote that the staff would be a bit snooty but they were far from it. In fact they were so welcoming and really made out stay.

Not only were the staff nice but the hotel itself was lovely. I didn't eat in the resturant but the had a few drinks at the bar. They even allowed us to take the drinks to the room which was a bonus as it was quite full in the bar seating areas.

Would definately recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Don't go for a smoking room as they are in another building and not as nice.
