This review is on the Ajala spa only. Based at the back of the St Paul's Grange Hotel. The location is easily accessible and convenient to get to. The service, the treatments and the facilities are just amazing.

As you go in, you are greeted with a lovely reception area. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and cannot do enough for you. All the areas are exceptionally clean and well furnished. There are lovely changing rooms for men and women with GHDs power hair dryers. You are given luxurious robes and slippers on arrival. Plentiful towels for use. Beautiful swimming pool and jacuzzi. Steam and sauna rooms are small but very comfortable.

The treatments rooms are spacious and relaxing. I had a facial and wonderful body massage. I highly recommend them!

Lovely complimentary tea, coffee, cakes, chocolates and fruits in their Relaxation Lounge as well. I had a thoroughly very pleasant three hours there on a Saturday afternoon and was not rushed at any point whilst using the facilities.

I have been to a few spas across London and I have to say, this is bar far the best and much more reasonable that places like the Sanctuary!

Booked this hotel through top secret hotel via lastminute.com and wasn't disappointed, having previously stayed at Grange - Tower Bridge, I knew it would be a high standard
This hotel is right by St Paul's Cathedral and close to numerous underground stations for easy navigation although once there we walked everywhere.
We rang the hotel the day before we were due to check in to request a room with a view of St Paul's as it was a special occasion and Guest services didn't let us down, we got the view & also cupcakes for us which was a very personal thoughtful touch :)
St. Paul's is stunning day and lit up at night. Comfortable bed and soft lighting , power shower and free wifi

I stayed for a weekend at this hotel and enjoyed it. The staff were very professional and helpful and we were upgraded upon our arrival to a large room away from the main hotel. The lighting and heating in the room were controlled by use of a Samsung tablet, which was very novel. The shower was huge, with nice dressing gowns and slippers provided. We didn't eat in the hotel so I can't comment on the food. The only reason I haven't given it an excellent rating is that I couldn't open the windows, find any extra bedding and the telly screen kept freezing, oh and there was a bit of noise from the local bars on Friday night filtering up to our room.

Stayed at this hotel last night ( Friday 21.3.14) . We chose this hotel as my husband had stayed here previously on business , but this was a trip for our 20th wedding anniversary.
I think this hotel is deserving of its 5 star rating, and for the price we paid ,it represented excellent value for a luxury hotel .
The location was fabulous - 5 minutes from St Paul's tube and the millennium bridge and with the magnificent St Paul's cathedral virtually on the door step. We had pre booked visiting The Shard and was pleased that it was within walking distance also.
Upon checking in , I was told that we were having a complimentary upgrade , and our 2nd floor room was amazing - 2 king size beds and a beautiful bathroom , well stocked mini bar and huge floor to ceiling window with lovely views over the interior of the hotel ( a mezzanine type area) . As expected the room was beyond spotless , and we also had air con and free wifi in the room. It was lovely and quiet- could not hear any noise from adjacent rooms at all. Sleep quality was great as it was so quiet and the beds were very comfortable.
In the morning , we had continental breakfast in the restaurant in the stunning atrium area of the hotel , which was included in the room rate - an excellent selection of fresh food and waiter service . The chef also prepared poached eggs to perfection to order. We could have upgraded to a full English for £8 , but there is honestly no need as the continental was more than adequate .
On checking out , we were happy that we could leave our bag with the concierge for the rest of the day so we could continue sightseeing .
To conclude , this hotel is definitely worth a return visit - next time for 2 or more nights so we can take advantage of the gym, pool and spa facility , which looked fabulous in the brochure in the room.
Highly recommended.

This hotel was amazing and up-to-date; I work in the hotel industry and must say that everything looks amazing and the rooms are awesome. Had a really great shower and the bathroom's dimmed illumination is very relaxing, could have stayed there for hours. the rooms signals and the detail of a complimentary newspaper in the morning just got me.

The staff is helpful as you would expect for a hotel this category.

Cons: They have a TV with connections including HDMI which i could not make work (But the idea is awesome) and the internet is very slow... but Free!

Room Tip: Any room in the rear building would be awesome

I accompanied my husband who was in London for business. Very convenient location for those doing business at Lloyd's of a London. While the hotel is not right next to the major sightseeing sites, there are 2 underground stations (St Paul's & Blackfriars) within easy walking distance. St Paul's Cathedral is right near this hotel. Room was very nicely decorated, bed was comfortable and it was quiet in the room. I loved that there was both a shower & a separate bath tub. Breakfast buffet was very good with many selections. Staff were all friendly and helpful. WiFi was free but sometimes spotty depending on your location in the hotel. Several bars and restaurants in the hotel and many restaurants nearby.

Lovely hotel and excellent value for money:
Spacious, comfortable room; good breakfast, helpful, friendly staff; stunning view of St Paul's
Membership of attached professional gym with an 18m pool, sauna suite and gym

We stayed for a weekend and loved the hotel and its beautiful, quiet (at the weekend) and central location.

Room Tip: Our request to switch from the initial room we were allocated was dealt with quickly
