great place to stay with a friendly welcome, comfortable rooms, excellent food; right in the heart of Wimbledon village and with easy travel into London. Have stayed many times and will continue to do so.

Room Tip: book ahead as gets busy!

We have stayed at the Rose and Crown on three different occasions and have been very impressed by the service and quality of the rooms. We are shareholders of the company and so benefit from a discounted room rate. I'm not sure I would be prepared to pay their full rate though which seems rather expensive - though this is London after all.

The free car park is very useful and tends not to be too crowded and we were always able to find a space. The rooms are very well furnished, clean and tidy. The sound proofing from the pub is very good and you cannot hear any noise which meant a good couple of night's sleep. The breakfasts that we had were also very tasty with multiple different options of cooked and continental on offer. The staff were also very accommodating. All in all a very pleasant stay and well located for shopping in Wimbledon.

Hotel situated in Wimbledon Village 10 minutes walk to the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Club/Museum.
Clean hotel.
Very friendly, helpful and polite staff.
We had evening meal and breakfast. No complaints.
Did experience some traffic noise in the room we were allocated, but it wasnt annoying.
Small car park adjacent to hotel, not sure where one would park if it became full!
Free internet access.
Overall a very welcoming hotel.

Maybe I should keep this great place as a secret- otherwise it might be booked up next time I want to stay......
Our large family group stayed at the Rose and Crown for the weekend and we all had a fabulous time. Yola, the manager could not have been more helpful, welcoming and accommodating, she is a real asset to the place. Vi who helps out at breakfast is a gem and lovely to chat to; the staff in the pub were also very friendly.
The whole place has a "charme" as a boutique hotel with some lovely quirky and individual touches. All my trips to wimbledon need a stop in Rose & Crown. I tested the executive suite which is vast and completely stunning; incorporating a free standing bath, huge walk in shower, a further dressing area,..... Although not as large, the other doubles were stylishly furnished and the bathrooms in all rooms had been fitted out to a very high standard. Everything was spotlessly clean. A real bonus was the employee, the internet free and the roof terrace where we all gathered to read the papers on the sun loungers and for a beer in the evening. The beds themselves are very comfortable with nice duvet. All the team will provide you the support for a relaxing and regenerate accomodation.
P.s.: Don't forget to test their restaurant and the breakfast....better than a 5 stars

Very nice B&B attached to a pub. We were concerned about being so near the pub, but that wasn't the issue. The sound proofing was excellent, no street or pub noise at all. The room was like a 4 star hotel room, very clean and spacious. The breakfast was very good. There was one nagging issue. For some reason, the pub has located their storage rooms in a hall adjacent to the hotel rooms. The workers take a short cut thru the same hall as the rooms, each time slamming two doors. At first it bothered us in a minor way, but after a full day of site seeing, trying to relax while the workers slam around in the late afternoon was truly annoying. It stopped as fast as it started, and there was golden silence at night. We would stay there again, we just wouldn't stay in rooms 1 or 2!
