“Serious cinema....”
Reviewed 19 March 2013

All the Curzon chain of cinemas are excellent, but this and Mayfair (Curzon Street) are to my mind the best. The Soho cinema is well-appointed with one large and one small bar; a coffee shop at street level and really comfortable screens showing great films. Don't miss the 'Q & A' sessions that follow some films - they are always stimulating and informative. Joining the Curzon is a really good deal.

“Superb, friendly and relaxed cinema”
Reviewed 3 February 2013

Saw the "Flemish / Belgian" Bullhead here last night, film excellent.

Venue very good, cafe for a bite to eat and a decent coffee on street level, 2 bars underneath- plenty of seating and space. Well laid out venue. Superb staff too, friendly and dedicated to the cinema, it seemed to me. All in all a great place to catch a non-main stream movie - give it a go!

“Excellent Cinema with a Wonderful chill out area”
Reviewed 22 January 2013

Jappen to come here with the London Pass as it was raining and wanted to fully utilize the pass. It had a movie The Hobbit 3D which we wanted to watch.
It was a very nice area for you to chill out before the movie. You can order drinks and cakes which you can enjoy while seating on the comfortable sofas.
The cinema is huge I had a good time viewing a 3D movie there.
The staff were very polite and we enjoyed chatting with them as we were very early and just wanted to get out of the rain. The place amazed us as it made it a very fun afternoon.
The clientele here was very different from the other cinemas so it made the viewing even more fun.

“Great hangout for filmgoers”
Reviewed 1 October 2012

I renewed my membership of the Curzon group this year as they offer a great range of films from arthouse to commercial to suit any filmgoer's taste, talks and exhibitions for film buffs, Met Opera live link-ups for those that can't afford the real thing and a lovely cafe/bar and lounge area to relax before a film or at any time one feels like a rest. The bars on all three floors serve lovely coffee, other drinks and snacks and the upstairs cafe serves a gorgeous selection of cakes as well as hot and cold snacks. It's a great meeting place even if you aren't going to see a film and the lounge downstairs with sofas and coffee tables is perfect for lolling about with a book or newspaper or their excellent film programme and there are hard chairs and round tables for sitting at with your laptop or notebook. Toilets are available in the basement and are always well maintained. The staff are helpful and courteous and the three studios are very comfortable for viewing. The audience tends to be more knowledgeable and well-mannered than in the more commercial cinemas so viewing is less distracted by crackling crisp packets although the soft munch of popcorn is still a favourite. Drinks are allowed in the cinema studios.
