In London for 2 days with the family on holiday. We have a good friend who is a stewardess and she highly recommended this place as convenient via tube from Heathrow and then to the sites of London. She was right! Our flight arrived at 7:15AM into Heathrow. Took the tube to Earl's Court. The hotel is just a 10 minute walk. Got to the hotel by 9:30ish. We were NOT expecting to get a room so early but that day was our lucky day and for an extra £20 we could get into our room right then! It was well worth it. We all desperately needed showers from the flight. The room (for all 4 of us - 2 adults & 2 teenaged girls) was updated, clean and spacious. The bathroom was nice too. The only issue for me was that the bathtub/shower was very narrow but the water pressure was good and the little shampoo's smelled good! Over the 2 day period we were there, we noticed many flight crews coming and going. Your figure if this is the choice of folks that travel for a living it has to be good. This is not a 5 start hotel, but for a good, clean place in a good location at a reasonable price, we found it very enjoyable. This place also has a very nice garden in the backyard. They have a great happy hour / tea time and it was really nice to relax in such a quite area in the middle of Central London! And if you book with breakfast included, the breakfast bar was actually really good! GREAT COFFEE! Make your own omelet, all types of breads and pastries, cheese, meats, fruits, juices, and yogurt. You can actually fill up...this ain't just a croissant and a cup of coffee!

17 nights in a hotel give you enough time to see the good and the bad. Overall I think it was a great experience and I would definitely go back. NH group in general has a great service. In this ocassion it was particularly pleasant to treat with Blanca at the reception desk, the indian maître at the restaurante and the lady that cleaned our room (unfortunatelly I don't remember the name of the last two persons). The quality of the bathrooms and bed is great. The location unbeatable.

Had a small, quiet room with a nice view. Room well equipped except there are no drawers for clothes, but adequate closet space. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Good location to tube station for getting all around London and to and from Heathrow.

Room Tip: High floor with a view

Nice spot in KensingtonI recently visited the NH Kensington Hotel for business. It is located at just five minutes from Earls Court Station with convenient connections to the District and Picadilly lines. The check in was quick and efficient because I have an NH Loyalty card. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with all the necessary ammenities for a business trip, WIFI is free. The only thing I’d say needs improvement are the TVs, time to change them. I used the buffet breakfast the following morning and wasn’t disappointed. Good variety of everything and possibility to do your own Full English. The buffet was run by a very efficient and smiley young lady. Perhaps the pastries felt a bit less premium than the rest of the stuff. All in all, a great place to stay for business. Will come back.

The hotel is located south from Hyde Park and west from South Kensington, in a very nice area of London. The rooms and services are very good and the breakfast has improved since the last time I was there, being now quite good too.
It's a bit expensive, but in line with the hotels of this class in London.

This hotel is above average for the price I paid - the room was spacious and well decorated and the staff were very friendly. Little touches like leaving a welcome note and small desert when we arrived really made us feel welcome. Free wi-fi and coffee in the mornings was also nice. The happy hour here (between 4.30 and 8.30) is awesome! Two bottles of wine for £20? Yes please :-) Sadly, though, the restaurant is really not great at all. I probably should have realised since we were the only ones in there all night. The waitress was a little odd in that she made us keep our silverware for both starters and desert - and the extra meal I ordered because my steak was cold and overcooked. Surely they could have forked (!) out for an extra set of cutlery for these courses.... Anyway - restaurant is a no but the hotel is a definite yes - will stay here again.

Just feel I have to express how nice the hotel bar's Happy Hour is for their guests. Not a big drinker, but stay in this hotel on a regular basis while in London on business. The overall friendly service in the bar can't be beat. I normally don't even go to any Happy Hour in the hotel's I stay in, but I make an exception for this one. Nice ambiance, and really great, caring service by the wait staff, lead by Claudia, and definitely includes Carolina and Marek. Their consistent professionalism, friendliness, and service will keep this weary traveller returning again and again.
