Right in the center of Londons new hipster area is a hotel that tops all my past London experiences. Fantastic service and cleanliness. Free internet access through the TV and avaliable Macs in the lobby. Nice lighting in the rooms, and even nicer bathrooms.

I managed to get a room at The Hoxton during their £1 Sale. I had looked on the website but I didn't expect much, due to the cheap nature of the offer... how wrong was I! The staff were so helpful and friendly as soon as I arrived! The room was lovely! It was clean and tidy with lovely decor and facilities in the room. The bed was one of the comfiest I've ever slept in! The bathroom was lovely, with a large power rain shower and large cubicle (with mirrors that don't steam up!!) Everything about this hotel was a delight and I would have been more than happy to pay full price for it! The free breakfast in the morning was just an extra bonus that made my stay in this hotel even more enjoyable! I would definitely recommend this hotel to other people!

The location was ideal for us as we wanted to be near the nightlife and good restaurants. We arrived on a Friday night and there was considerable noise from the outside terrace so we asked for a quieter room. Reception were very obliging and accommodated us immediately. Overall a very nice stay. We'll definately be back!

From check in to check out this hotel was an Oasis of calm in busy London.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were a good size (for London Hotels) and very clean, the bathroom was also a nice size with a fantastic shower and toiletries.
The Pret Breakfast was delicious and the in room tea, coffee and water was streets above other so called luxury hotels.
The Hotel is situated quite close to Old Street (max 5 min) so great access to the underground and £25.00 Taxi to London City Airport.
I really cannot find any fault with the hotel in any way.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the courtyard are quiet after about 10pm

If you are in London on business and looking for somewhere close to the City but in a neighbourhood that comes alive after dark rather than closing up, the Hoxton Hotel is a great choice. It buzzes by day and by night (I've never stayed up quite late enough to find out what time the bar shuts) and the foyer bar and restaurant always seems to be full of a hip but friendly crowd.

The theme throughout is relaxed, arty and unconventional. Hotel corridors are futuristic tracks of chrome and blue lighting. Rooms are dark and cosy, with a bordello feel to the lighting, smart bathrooms with Aveda bath products and chic decor in whites, greys and browns. Looking out of the window is akin to Hitchcock's "Rear Window" - I have seen all sorts of things on opening the curtains in the morning - but this hotel just somehow hits the mark. Even the breakfast is just right - a banana, juice and muesli in a paper bag on your door if you are in a hurry, or more substantial fare if you want a proper sit down cooked job.

I love the Hox. It makes me feel young when I stay there and there's not many City hotels that can claim that.

spent 2 nights and enjoyed every minute!! We are both "over 60" and the majority of guests were young and beautiful but we enjoyed the lively atmosphere and querkiness of the hotel. lots of great restauarants within walking distance but would recommend eating at the Hoxton grill - great food and friendly staff. Everyone made us feel very welcome and will definately be staying with them again - chris and terry campbell warwickshire
