A lovely stay in London, brought to perfection by the Hoxton staff!
Located near the Tubestation Old Street and close to Liverpool Street Station makes coming and going easy.
The beds were dreamy!
The banana on the dorr for breafast dosn´t impress, but the choices offerded att the Hoxton grill does move it up.
Cheers!

It's not so much as a room for the night but an experience. Honestly, we are a young 55/63 year old couple and the Hoxton to us is current, customer and service orientated. The rooms are modern and clean and do not disappoint at all but it's the whole package that makes the place. The package is being sandwiched between Islington and Shoreditch. It's a great part of London with quirky bars and restaurants - and unlike many other hotels, you can include the Hox Grill in that too. If you want a great weekend or night away, please try this.

The Hoxton Hotel is always where I prefer to stay on a trip to London. I used to live in Shoreditch so obviously like the area, and the Hoxton is stylish, comfortable and reasonably priced. We stayed this time in a 'concept room' with parquet flooring, wood and grey soft furnishings, which we really liked. The rooms are small but fitted out well, the only downside being that there was no space to put an open suitcase, except on the floor. I did like the USB power sockets - very useful. I always appreciate the free water and milk in the fridge in the room. I also like the breakfast bag, although I have to say I preferred the yoghurt when it was from Pret. One thing I don't really like is the 'Hox speak' which I find a bit pretentious and annoying. There are also a lot of posing hipster types in the restaurant and bar. However, overall I do think the hotel is one of the most laid back, value for money and well equipped hotels in London and I'll definitely continue to stay here.

The Hoxton is all about the edge of hipness and certainly their bar and lounge area is absolutely buzzing. But staying here is a slightly disappointing experience. The service is badly letting them down (apart from their Sales Manager, the only seasoned hospitality person I met during my stay). Getting the attention of the waiters at breakfast, when the place was half empty, took 20 minutes. Their rooms are basic dressed up as fashion. Their towel policy of one per guest is the same as a premier inn, so tough if you want to dry your body and your hair. Unlike a premier inn, there's no shaving mirror, so no close up makeup application. Love the free water and free wifi. Time for this hotel to grow up and decide if it wants student service standards or high paying grown ups to return.

Good value, fun decor, and a great location.

Definitely a fun place to stay. The hotel and the whole neighbourhood have a lot of energy, so if you're looking for somewhere quiet, this may not be the place for you. Quite close to Old Street station, and a short walk to all kinds of interesting things.

Downsides: Rooms are tiny, with not much storage. Our windows let in a lot of noise from the street, which was a bit annoying.

Overall, I'd stay here again if coming back to London.

I love the Hox - this was our second time. Efficient, smart hotel and has a real buzz about it. Near Old Street tube station and there are lots of buses that pass by. It's within
walking distance of Spitalfields and Liverpool Street Station. The Staff are friendly and provide good service. The rooms are clean and the bedlinen and fluffy towels are lovely. The showers are a joy. We would would certainly stay again and can recommend it

Room Tip: Rooms at the front are a bit noisy - there's double/double glazing but then it gets a bit hot...

Hotel was fine, room ok, nothing special but as expected. Standard for London. Except for the refurbishment going on, with quite possibly the loudest building works known to man. Wasn't aware would be woken up to what sounded like the roof being bulldozed in nice and early in the morning!! Also found only 1 towel in the room, not the greatest start. As for staff, not so sure overly helpful as others have said. Perhaps caught them in a mood, but as useful as a chocolate teapot more adequate description! Dispondent, and uninterested. Not the worse but far from the best, better in London for your hard earned!
