Had a fantastic stay in The Hoxton!

Very cool boutique hotel and very reasonably priced for what you get! Rooms were a good size and loved the small touches like the Roberts DAB / Wifi radios in the room and complimentary water and fresh milk everyday. The hotel has a lively bar downstairs which had a great atmosphere. Downside was on a busy Saturday night it did take a while to get a drink but that wasn't a big deal. The staff on reception were brilliant and very friendly.

My only negative from the weekend was that some maintenance was on the go in the room above us. Wouldn't normally have been a problem as it was mid morning but as we had been out late the night before I was hoping for a longer lie in. As I said a pretty minor complaint.

Long story short, I had a great stay and I'll be back, would definitely recommend to others

A very well managed hotel, bar and restaurant. Great service from a team of pleasant and helpful staff and superb quality food. Enjoyed two nights sleep in pleasant accommodation. Not so keen on the harsh industrial/warehouse decor in places (e.g. upstairs corridors), which is/was fleetingly trendy. The 3-piece continental breakfast in-a-bag is minimalist, but welcome nonetheless. Overall, we were well looked after and enjoyed a pleasant stay - particularly impressed with the food and service.

The Hoxton is a very trendy hotel. Service is exemplary, rooms comfortable, food good value and quality. Would recommend this to anyone. Location is great for the tube and also for walking to the city. Do try the pan fried cod with crayfish butter and a simple cooked breakfast.

Friendly staff. Fun area of London to stay in with loads of stuff nearby, but I am not sure I would go back. The rooms are nicely decorated - with the dark and moody style and mirrored walls, you get your breakfast in a paper bag (a yoghurt, juice and banana). I guess it is designed for young people with spare cash and who want to be seen. Nice but probably not for me again.
