Our room (8) was on the top floor so could be a bit of a problem climbing exterior metal staircase & then internal 'normal' stairs. But once we had arrived, we found it a light, spacious, well-appointed room. It was lovely & clean with nice linen & a comfy bed. There was plenty of space in the bathroom for ALL of one's bits & pieces - a facility which seems to be lacking in expensive, bijou hotels. The downstairs pub is really lovely. The staff very friendly. The food excellent. Incredible value for money!!
