We went in without reservation, not knowing what to expect and decided to go for an aged steak, medium rare with Béarnaise sauce and french fries. The fries were not good (they were too hard) but the meat was excellent. Grilled to perfection. I love Béarnaise sauce and have ordered it many times. This one in Simon the Tanner was definitely one of the better ones.
