Ignore the minority haters who have marked this place down.

I went yesterday utilising the Opentable 50% deal with a friend. The staff were more tna welcoming and efficient.

The food came out promptly and was of a high standard/very well presented.

The mains were more than in order quantity and quality wise and was as good as any other higher end curry house i'v e frequented.

At bill time I had no problems with cheeky surcharges or any other nonsense.

To sum up this eaterie gets a big thumbs up from me and I will certainly be going again when a ruby is on the mind!

Visiting in the middle of the week for a date night, the restaurant wasn't too busy and the staff were all friendly, seating us straight away. I hadn't been to a restaurant like this in a very long time and was wondering how it would turn out. The staff were on top of everything from when we arrived to when we left. Everything was ordered and arrived promptly, looking and smelling delicious. I was trying some foods out of my comfort zone and i'm very happy I did, they were absolutely amazing dishes. A nice touch was when the manager came round and asked if everything was good and seemed worried when some of the food was left over. Our reason was that the portions are quite big, he seemed genuinely concerned that we had disliked our food. The prices are a little higher than your average restaurant but that being said, this isn't your average restaurant, it is a delight to visit and totally worth the money paid.

We went back again a few weeks later and the manager came over to us asking us if we had visited a few weeks ago because he thought he recognised us. With the amount of people that a restaurant has coming through it was a very nice surprise when he said he remembered us.

All in all, this restaurant is a very good place to visit if you're in the area and looking for a tasty meal accompanied by friendly staff that can't do enough for you.

This is our local Curry house and we're delighted that it is. Probably the best in Hammersmith & in Chiswick. The food is always fresh and tasty and portions are a good size. All in all very good value for money. The staff are friendly and attentive and are always on hand to advise and suggest dishes…nothing seems too much trouble for them.

I can't recommend the Tamarind highly enough.

If you are looking for an Indian restaurant in West London, check out Tamarind in Chiswick. Authentic and delicious, the food is beautifully presented and served by polite staff who ensure you have everything you need for a great eating out experience.
The decor is contemporary and the standards of cleanliness are 5 star - the place is spotless everywhere! We even got to have a look at the kitchen and meet the chefs and see the tandoori oven where our chicken was cooked.
Whether it's a meal out for two or a gathering of friends or family,Tamarind is a great choice. We have got a Tastecard and as such visit lots of Indian restaurants and can definitely say Tamarind is one of the best in England. We'll be back !
